Pet care experience
I have personal experience of keeping my own hamsters and budgies. I have done pet sitting in the past for cats, chickens and fish; and spent time around my friends’ dogs and puppies. My time within vet school has included various placements with different animals: I recently went to a cat sanctuary and am excited to attend a dog daycare business in June. I have passed basic animal handling exams with dogs, cats and exotic animals.

Kate cared brilliantly for our very elderly (20yr old) cat whilst we were away. Molly has many needs, that come with such an old cat but nothing was too much trouble. She spent more time than we'd asked for with Molly and gave her time outside on every visit with lots of fuss. Fantastic communication throughout and very professional. Kate clearly loves all animals and I'd highly recommend her to anyone to care for any pet.
Kate was an excellent pet sitter, and I would definitely re-employ her to look after the chicks! She was super attentive and once I returned home from my holiday, she even cleaned the coop. Best wishes on your rover ventures. x

Availability
I am hoping to spend time pet-sitting, doing home pet visits and dog walking this Summer as I have a couple of free months (Mid May-mid June and August). I generally have a flexible timetable. I would be interested in considering long term dog walking over the next year.
