Having over 30 years experience of dogs including breeding Kennel Club registered puppies in my home and currently being a proud owner of 1 gorgeous Labrador, I decided to set up my own Dog Walking/Boarding/Daycare Business - Southgate Dog Walkers. I am passionate about dogs and treat all animals in my care like my own. Boarding/Daycare Services I hold a licence with Barnet Council to board dogs so you can be assured that your dog is in safe hands. Boarded dogs stay in my home with my sociable and friendly Labrador (Muffin) and the rest of my family including my two children who adore animals. It really is a home from home when your dog comes to stay with me. We have a large garden which backs onto a park where we go for walks. I provide lots of toys for enrichment while the dogs are here. Walking Services All dogs are collected and dropped off and get a full hour walk from when we reach the park; not from when I collect your dog. Your dog will be returned home mud free, towel dried and fed if required. I am CRB Checked and Insured. With the vast experience I have of my dogs whelping puppies and then managing the rearing of lots of litters and the early training that puppies require, my wealth of Canine knowledge really sets me apart. I have also completed a pet first aid course and refresh them periodically to keep up to date. I am a true Animal lover and can provide references from lots of happy dogs and their owners.

We left our labrador with Kate for two weeks and were understandably a bit anxious about being apart for so long. She's quite an anxious dog and doesn't always adapt quickly to new situations, so we knew it might take her a while to settle into a new routine. Kate sent regular photos and updates, and it was lovely to see her gradually relax, gain confidence, and start enjoying the company of the other dogs. Of course, she can't tell us how it went, but she seemed happy, relaxed, and completely herself when we picked her up and in the days after. We'd happily book Kate again and recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter.
Kate looked after Albus while we were away for 3 weeks. Albus seemed to really enjoy his time with Kate, her family and other dogs. We were kept updated with pictures and videos during the stay. Would really recommend Kate’s dog sitting services.
Great communication from Kate my dog came back very happy and tired from all the fun will be booking again.

Kate was excellent. I received plenty of updates about Rolo, with pictures and videos. I feel he was really cared for and he seemed very happy at the end of his stay. Would definitely book again

This is my full time job so all my time is dedicated to looking after the guest dogs here and ensuring they have a lovely holiday.

My garden is secure so that no dogs can escape. I can crate your dog if needed as I have spare ones in lots of different sizes. I always follow the owner’s instructions and routine.

A usual day will involve breakfast first and then playtime in the garden. By mid morning we will head out trot a long walk at the park which backs onto my house. Then it’s back for some more play, perhaps a nap if they need it and then dinner and relax time before bed.
