For example, your dog might need to be kept calm due to having a physical limitation, I can adapt the way I behave to best suit them and accommodate any health or behavior concerns so they don't get stressed or overwhelmed! A typical day
I will listen carefully to all of your needs when it comes to taking care of your animals, and make sure to put this into practice during my visit. Every animal has their own personality and I take pride in being patient enough to get to know and understand them so I can be a reliable pal for them when you're busy! I typically start off slow while we get a feel for each other, slowly learning what your pet likes and doesn't like. I'd start off with a little treat and a calm chat before assessing the best way to move ahead with each task as requested. If you've forgotten to let me know anything during our meet and greet just write it down and leave it visible!

Pet care experience
House Sitting now available. - a meet and greet is required before your booking is accepted. I have owned and cared for cats of my own as well as friends and family members for the last 20 years! Although I'm a cat lover, I also have some hands on experience with lots of different dog breeds and will be happy to feed, walk & play with your canine compadres while you're indisposed! I currently don't have any experience with canine or feline CPR, but I am able to administer oral, ocular, transdermal and subcutaneous medications. I am focusing on continuing to expand on specialized care during my work at my local animal shelter.

I met Kate while she was walking another client’s dog. I was impressed by how calm and respectful she was with the dog, and asked if she would be open to walking mine. My dog has separation anxiety and Kate has been patient, kind, and responsive while we work our way up to a walk with her. She’s great at listening and offers excellent insight.
Kate loves our dog as her own and goes out of her way to help us out.
Kate is the best! My dog is a total pain and yet she keeps coming back for walks and overnight sitting. I can tell how much he loves his walks and being with her :)
