I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 15 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Pets are truly family to me, and I treat each one with the same love, patience, and respect I’d want for my own. I enjoy supporting animals through every stage of life — from playful puppies learning the ropes to senior pets needing a little extra TLC. I tailor my care to each pet’s unique routine and temperament, whether I’m looking after a tiny lap dog, a high-energy pup, or a gentle giant. Their safety, happiness, and comfort are always my top priorities, and I do everything I can to help them feel right at home. After recently saying goodbye to my beloved 14.5 year old Victorian Bulldog, Guida, I gained firsthand experience with the special care senior pets need — including mobility support, medication, and lots of extra love. As a bonus, my fiancé Jason is also a Rover sitter! We both work from home and have flexible schedules, which means your pet gets double the attention, care, and supervision — from two experienced, devoted caregivers who truly love what we do. One of my favorite parts of pet sitting is sending photo updates. When my own dog was in someone else’s care, those little check-ins meant the world to me and I want you to feel just as connected. My clients often tell me how much they appreciate the communication and the peace of mind that comes with knowing their pet is safe, happy, and loved. Kate took incredible care of my pup!! She was flexible with booking and listened to all the instructions I sent over. She sent updates so I knew he was doing good, and was just so kind and easy to work with! I cannot recommend her enough!!!
Kate and Jason are the absolute BEST. Our dogs stayed with them for 10 days and clearly had the best time. Kate was super communicative before we booked to meet up and make sure they were the best fit for our senior dog, Bo. They couldn’t have been more accommodating with him, using a harness for their stairs and even setting him up with red light therapy!! Kate and Jason sent multiple updates per day with the dogs going on walks, to the park, and snoozing on the couch. We had total peace of mind that our pups were in the best hands, and highly, highly recommend Kate and Jason! We’ll definitely book them again!!
I have had Kate sit Bean in my home and board him in hers. She offers reasonable pick-up and drop-off services and I’ve never had to worry about my dog when he is with her which is so comforting for someone with a dog with severe anxiety. She is my “go-to” every time I have to be away.
Kate and Jason have watched our dog a couple times now and go above and beyond. They give updates, helped when our dog was sick, and make you feel comfortable leaving your dog. Highly recommend!!!!!!

Schedule
Since we both work from home with flexible schedules, we’re able to adjust our routine to meet each pet’s specific needs, providing plenty of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day.

In my home, pets enjoy a calm, welcoming space where they can feel secure. I provide plenty of one-on-one attention, structured playtime, and regular potty breaks. In your home, I focus on creating consistency for your pet while treating your space with the same respect and care I'd want for my own. I follow all care instructions closely so your pet stays comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I also keep you updated regularly so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active, entertained, and happy! For dogs, I enjoy taking them on walks, playing fetch, or having fun with tug-of-war. If they have a favorite toy or game, I make sure to incorporate that into our time together. For more energetic pups, we can explore new walking routes or even enjoy some light training games to keep their minds engaged. For cats, I engage them with interactive toys like feather wands or laser pointers, or let them enjoy a cozy cuddle session if that’s more their style. Whatever their preferences, I strive to make every moment fun and enriching, ensuring they feel loved and cared for while you're away.
