Pet care fits well into my schedule alongside my other job. I’m mostly available in the mornings, evenings, and on weekends, and I can also accommodate afternoon visits when needed. I plan my schedule carefully so I can be reliable and consistent, and I always make sure pets get my full attention during visits. I’m flexible when possible and communicate clearly to make scheduling easy and stress free for pet parents.

Safety and trust are top priorities when I care for pets in your home. I follow all care instructions exactly, keep routines consistent, and make sure pets feel secure and comfortable in their familiar environment. I respect the client’s space, make sure doors and gates are secure, and keep potentially harmful items out of reach. I watch for changes in behavior and communicate promptly with owners if anything seems unusual. I adjust my approach based on each individual pet’s personality, and I never force interaction or new routines. My goal is to create a calm, safe experience that’s as close as possible to how things normally are at home.

Pet care experience
Dogs bring big personalities, wagging tails, and plenty of energy, and I love keeping up with all of it. From walks and playtime to meals and cuddle breaks, I make sure each dog sticks to their routine and feels happy and comfortable while their people are away. I pay attention to their habits, energy levels, and individual preferences so they get care that actually feels familiar, not just supervised. Above all, I make sure every dog gets not just reliable care, but genuine love and attention as well.

I have known Kate since 2010 when she became our neighbor in our apartment building. She soon became a dear friend. Kate is a very kind, loving and trustworthy person. Back then, my husband and I went out of town a lot and we couldn’t take all of our cats with us. Kate would go over to our apartment every day and sometimes more than once a day to check on them, or to just “hang out” and play with them. Kate got a kitten of her own who was very tiny. She bottle-fed him until he was eating enough on his own. Some years later she took in an elderly cat from our neighbor who had to go into a nursing home. She loved him and took care of him until his death at a ripe old age. She even gave him sub-Q fluids when he developed chronic kidney disease in his last year. Kate has continued to come into our home to check on and take care of our cats when we go out of town. We don’t live just across the hall from each other anymore, but she comes to check on our “boys” at least once a day while we are gone. She makes sure that they have enough kibble and fresh water and will give them a treat of soft food also. She even cleans the litter boxes everyday even though we never expected her to do that for us. We are most appreciative for that though. This Christmas we were gone for a week, and she went over every day. One of our cats had been sick but was finally doing better. Kate offered to take him into her home in order to keep a closer eye on him. In the end, we decided that that would be too stressful for him, so she made sure that she came over at least once a day and she made sure that she physically laid eyes on him and observed his behavior. She sent us pictures with an update every day and even gave him his medicine. If she ever has any questions, she will call or text us. A couple of years ago I adopted a three-year-old Pomeranian. Kate loves coming over to see and play with him. She has offered to watch him for us also when we are gone but since he is so little, he is easy to take with us. I do not worry about my cats when we are away because I know that Kate is looking after them. I know that she cares for them like she would her own.
