Because of this, I’m able to give pets the attention, patience, playtime, and care they deserve throughout the day. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so pet care fits very naturally into my routine.

I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, calm, and comfortable in a clean and loving environment. In my home or a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, whether they are energetic and playful or older and need a quieter, more gentle approach. I also make sure they always have fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of affection and attention so they don’t feel stressed or lonely while their owner is away.

Pet care experience
I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, ducks, and other pets with patience and love. I’m comfortable caring for senior pets who need extra attention, administering basic care, and understanding animal behavior and needs. I also have experience helping a mother cat during birth and caring for newborn kittens. Animals naturally feel safe around me, and I treat every pet as if they were my own.

Kate did an amazing job with our senior cat. Ours is truly one of the most difficult cats you can imagine — traumatized, sick, and not at all friendly with strangers. Yet Kate handled her with remarkable patience and intuition. She’s a real pet whisperer. Despite a couple of scratches, she stayed calm, gentle, and consistent, and our cat ended up trusting her, which is something I honestly didn’t think was possible. After losing hope in finding a reliable sitter, I was introduced to Kate through a friend whose dog she walks and sits for regularly. They had only wonderful things to say about her, and now I understand why. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her.
Watching Kate with my dogs showed me the kind of person she truly is. Animals naturally gravitate toward genuine people, and from the moment she met them, they felt completely safe, loved, and comfortable around her. The patience, gentleness, and affection she showed them was something really special to witness. She treated them like they were her own — giving them attention, care, and so much love. You could see how naturally compassionate she is in the way she spoke to them, played with them, and made sure they felt calm and happy. My dogs absolutely adored her, and honestly, that says a lot about someone’s heart. Kate has such a warm and nurturing spirit, and seeing the bond she formed with my dogs made me appreciate her even more. It’s rare to meet someone with such genuine kindness, not only toward people but toward animals too. I’ll always be grateful for the love and care she showed them.
