Your dog will be staying with me, my husband James and our border collie Vega. We live in a home with plenty of space. There is a fully enclosed back garden with no access/gates which is a mixture of grass, paving and plants. Our border collie lives at home who is very well trained and good with other dogs. We live close by to plenty of walking routes to suit different ages, breeds and medical conditions. Having a border collie, we are used to plenty of long walks each day however we can cater to any dogs' needs.

Information Kate O. would like to know about your pet

If you enquire about a booking please let me know if your dog has any special requirements or medical conditions I need to be aware of. Their temperament with other dogs. If they are spayed/neutered and their sleeping arrangements. We also ask that dogs are fully up to date with their jabs, flea, wormer etc. If you are booking with us for the first time we require a meet and greet so you can see where your dog will be staying and have the opportunity to ask us any questions but also for us we want to ensure they’re a good fit for us and our dog as we do not want him to feel uncomfortable in his own home.

Pet care experience

I own a very friendly and well trained border collie called Vega who is 12 years old. I have supported friends who have taken on puppies and rescues to train and get them settled. I am confident looking after and walking multiple dogs and I'm a caring, friendly, dog-obsessed person who understands how important your pet is to you and how difficult it can be to leave with someone.

Kate was amazing with our 18 month cockapoo, she was really quick to respond, set up a meet & greet beforehand to check Norman would be happy and on the day she sent lots of photos, updates and let us know how he was. Norman was really happy and well looked after with Kate and we would definitely recommend!

I’m very pleased with Tess’s stay at Kate’s. Tess was very well looked ofter and cared for as she has an open wound which Kate bathed and kept clean. Tess loves staying with Kate, James and Vega. This is the third time staying with them and I’m planning more stays.

Molly is always so happy when we arrive at Kates. She knows she is going to have a lovely time and I know that she will be so well looked after while I’m away.
