Animals make me happy, here to help
My name is Kate and my love for animals is what prompted me to enter the world of pet care. I grew up in a home with dogs and guniea pigs and learned early on how to be responsible in caring for a pet. The Humane Society was close to my childhood home, I would walk there weekly to go in and visit all the different animals and dreamed of owning a bunch one day myself. Later on in my twenties I learned what it was like to have a cat and now am a self proclaimed, obsessed with all the things cat. Currently I have two cats, a spunky Bengal named Benny and a sophisticated tuxedo baby named Olive. My hobbies include weightlifting, walking, yoga, ceramics, listening to podcasts, reading, baking and traveling.

I currently am not able to board any other animals in my home as I have two cats that prefer to be the only pets.

Kate and I may share a love for animals but her ability to care for them like her own is a special gift. Kate is not only kind and compassionate but she has the knowledge and work ethic that allows me to relax and trust her with my fur babies while I travel. Kate has stayed at my apartment many times with my dogs and I’ve always come home to the house exactly how I left it and the animals happy and healthy. I’d recommend Kate to take care of your animals without hesitation. She’s the best!
Kate is always looking for ways to improve the lives of her cats Dr. Benny and Olive through love and attention. When either start to act out, wanting attention, she finds new ways to play with them and reward them when they are act correctly. She's always is researching how cats behavioral interactions with humans work, in an attempt to be on their same level. Kate loves dogs, too. While she doesn't own any of her own, she has a love and appreciation for their kind as well, and would do wonderfully as a caregiver.
Kate is a kind, responsible, trustworthy and loving person who my cats absolutely adore. My girls can be a bit shy, but they love when Kate visits. They will lay in her lap for hours. She takes the time with them so that they are comfortable. The last time she stayed with them they were well fed, she had changed out the litter box and they were happy.
Kate showers her cats with so much love & attention. She loves not just her kitties but all animals and I would be happy to have her care for my animals any time. I have full trust and confidence in her skills and abilities and know she would be a responsible and caring pet sitter.

Schedule
I currently work full time Mon-Thurs, 4 days a week which allows me to have, Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning or afternoons available for drop-in visits or walking your pet.
