Pet care experience
We are actors in New York City and thus do not have 9-5 jobs which means we are home while your dog stays with us. We are both in our 50s, mature and responsible. We are also both in very good shape, so your pup will get plenty of exercise. Kate raised and showed collies in her youth and also taught obedience classes. We have been boarding dogs in our apartment for the last decade and love it when we have a furry companion to walk, love, pet and hang out with. We don't have a dog of our own, so your pet will get our full and undivided attention. About this sitter: Hello! We are Kate and Michael and we love having a furry friend staying with us in our midtown Manhattan apartment. We are near two great dog runs and only a few blocks from Central Park. We would be so privileged to have your dog stay with us in our doggie domicile.

Kate & Michael are our favorite sitters for our dog Mocha. They have excellent attention to detail (Mocha has a lot of pills and supplements), are incredibly responsive, and are quick to send photos. Not only do they take excellent care of him but they love him, and that's not easy to find for a large, anxious dog like Mocha. They are lovely people and I could not recommend them more highly.
Kate and Michael were great! Pongo loved his time with them and seemed to have a great time. They were super communicative and professional and overall it was a seamless experience!
They were awesome! They treated our dogs like they were their own and sent us plenty of pictures to keep us updated. Highly recommend!
Kate and Michael are amazing. They constantly send me photos and let me know how Bandit is doing during his stay. Bandit loves Michael and Kate. He cannot wait till his next stay with them.

Michael and I walk our boarders 4-5 times a day. We always ask if your dog can go to the dog run and would never do anything you would not sanction. Dogs are welcome on our furniture and to sleep with us if you sanction that. We would never do anything to break your dog's training.

A typical day
Kate takes the dog on the first walk of the day, quite early, then home for breakfast and play. Depending on our schedules, one of us is usually with the dog and give him/her lots of attention and walks in the park. Michael does the last before-bed walk.

Michael and I have flexible schedules and since the pandemic, I work my part time job from home, so dogs that stay with us have at least one of us with them nearly all the time.
