Your Dog is Special to Us
We are actors in New York City and thus do not have 9-5 jobs which means we are home while your dog stays with us. We are both middle aged, mature and responsible. We are also both in very good shape, so your pup will get plenty of exercise. Kate raised and showed collies in her youth and also taught obedience classes. We have been boarding dogs in our apartment for the last decade and love it when we have a furry companion to walk, love, pet and hang out with. We don't have a dog of our own, so your pet will get our full and undivided attention. About this sitter: Hello! We are Kate and Michael and we love having a furry friend staying with us in our midtown Manhattan apartment. We are near two great dog runs and only a few blocks from Central Park. We would be so privileged to have your dog stay with us in our doggie domicile.

I would highly recommend Kate and Michael as dog sitters. The communication both in drop off and pickup was terrific, and I really appreciated how Kate made an effort to get to know Brady even before his stay to make sure that the two of them would be comfortable together. We got daily updates with photos from which it was clear that Brady had settled in. At pickup it was obvious that she and Brady had become fast friends, and he was in great spirits when he came home. Thanks Kate!
Kate and Michael took wonderful, loving care of our pup. They have taken care of our dogs over many years. They are very caring, know what they are doing, are a pleasure to deal with and are good communicators. I highly recommend them!
Kate & Michael hosted our two dogs for a couple of days and sent lots of photos and gave them cuddles and love!
Kate & Michael watched my 11 month old dog, Fitz, for 6 nights. They were extremely responsive and provided humorous & helpful updates along the way. It was clear that my dog was immediately comfortable with them and he was in great hands. When we walked by the building where Kate & Michael live 2 days later he tried to pull towards the entrance, clearly trying to go in to see his new friends.
Kate and Michael were great! They took such great care of dog Nella and provided daily updates with pictures. I knew Nella was safe and comfortable with them. They were even able to accommodate Nella for 2 extra nights when our flight was cancelled, I wish I could give an extra star for that! I would highly recommend Kate and Michael!

Schedule
Michael and I have flexible schedules and since the pandemic, I work my part time job from home, so dogs that stay with us have at least one of us with them nearly all the time.

Safety, trust & environment
Michael and I walk our boarders 4-5 times a day. We always ask if your dog can go to the dog run and would never do anything you would not sanction. Dogs are welcome on our furniture and to sleep with us if you sanction that. We would never do anything to break your dog's training.
A typical day
Kate takes the dog on the first walk of the day, quite early, then home for breakfast and play. Depending on our schedules, one of us is usually with the dog and give him/her lots of attention and walks in the park. Your dog will have 4-5 walks a day. Michael does the last before-bed walk.
