As long as I can remember, I've loved dogs; chances are, if you live within a two-mile radius of me, I know your pet's name! Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to care for their pets (dogs and cats) while on extended travel, overnight and on weekends. Until very recently, I was the paw-rent of a senior pittie, Bernie, so I am comfortable with and experienced in providing care for medically complex and senior animals.

Kate is fantastic with pets and truly loves all animals. She’s extremely sweet, patient with new animals, and really good at making your pet feel comfortable, even if they take time to warm up. I have a nervous dog, and it took a few visits for him to warm up to her, and she was always good with him even when he wasn’t good with her. Now he absolutely adores her. You can tell she genuinely enjoys spending time with pets, especially dogs, and they always seem happy around her. I’d trust her with my two dogs any day. I highly recommend working with her!

Kate is a very attentive and caring pet caregiver with deep experience handling bully breeds, senior dogs, and dogs in mixed households with cats. She’s observant of each dog’s needs, temperament, and routines, and knows how to provide just the right amount of affection and attention. I trust her completely to provide safe, loving, and thoughtful care.
Kate is incredible! She doesn’t just take care of dogs…she showers them with love! My pup gets spoiled every time he stays with her and gets excited when he realizes that we are going to her place. 10/10 would go with Kate again!

Schedule
I work remotely full-time, so am available to board your fur babies at my place or yours! I am also available for petcare after-hours and on weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
My partner and I own our home in Brandon Heights/Hilton Village. In addition to a fenced back yard, we live close to Hilton Beach and the Noland Trailhead. I keep a large crate available to give pups a safe place to hang out, if you/they prefer. We have one very friendly, extremely silly pup named Chai who is a Great Pyr/husky mix. He loves other dogs, but if yours doesn't, we can keep him baby gated in a different room.

A typical day
We'll explore the neighborhood, play fetch in the back yard, and/or visit the beach or Hilton Creamery for a pup cup. I want your dog to leave my care happy and tired!
