Work from home couple + playful pup
My husband and I work remotely and have one pup Pintxo (Peen-cho) who is awesome with other dogs. I love taking photos of pups - check out my gallery on here for some of my work! Pintxo is vocal and gets along with both playful dogs and more reserved ones that aren't interested in playing. For boardings/sittings/daycare I strive to keep your pup to their good habits and training so please let me know what your preferences are and any commands they know. Rover gives me the opportunity to hang out with new furry friends every day! I'm comfortable with all breeds and sizes though I have a soft spot for Mutts. I also am comfortable with injections, oral medicines, and making sure to avoid bloat in large dogs. I work remotely part time so it's easy to step away for potty breaks and walkies. My husband also works from home and wakes up earlier than I do so he may be the one to answer the door in the morning :) We also discounts for recurring day care service - so please let me know if you're interested in doing something weekly.

Schedule
Very flexible schedule since my husband and I work from home! We update our calendar on here frequently and fill up quickly so check that out for specific availability. We do not offer meet and greets for one-off day care.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large crate, many doggy beds, and have doggy gates throughout the house. We do not allow pups off leash outdoors since we have so much wildlife in our area. We also separate dogs for meals. We never leave dogs alone on the first day or two if it's our first time with your pup. Please skip bringing toys (we have so many!) and water / food bowls. We have our own bowls that we clean for every meal.
Pets
A typical day
When meeting us for the first time we'll start with just us and seeing our space. I will take your dog on leash and you and your pup will meet Pintxo outside on a 10 minute walk. This is non-negotiable for us but you don't have to tag along if you're short on time. We have a 3 acre lot and lots of grassy space for potty breaks. If the weather is nice we'll average 3.5 miles per day on walks and will always keep your dog on leash.

- Please let me know the following before I board your pup(s) - - What commands they know - If they are typically allowed on furniture (we can keep them off if you prefer) - How often you'd like to receive updates / photos - If they enjoy a car ride - we often go to the local forest preserves but will skip if your pup dislikes a drive. If you'd like me to do any training with your dog please let me know! Pintxo knows over 20 commands and I can work with your dog to learn something new for a $10 fee per command.
