Pet care experience
Hello! I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. As an adult, I adopted two dogs who are my whole world. I have also taken care of countless friends and family member's pets- I am known as the one always happy to take care of their pets! I have stayed at houses, had dogs come stay with me and my dogs, and have also just gone to let dogs out. Since starting this I've had so much fun spending time with puppies, older dogs, extra large dogs, kitties, elder cats, and everything in between! It's so fun watching a your pet go from shy to purring or cuddling with me. I have a lot of experience with reactive dogs, and am happy to care for one! I will work with you to make sure your pup is comfortable with me. I have also owned cats since childhood and miss owning them dearly. I miss the cuddle time. I have taken care of other's cats for several days including staying at their house.

Kate was great with my pets off the bat. The fact all my animals greeted her and wouldn’t let her leave was a good sign she was trustworthy. I just moved here and don’t know anyone so it was nice to have someone you could tell was responsible and trustworthy in your home while out of town for so long. She looked ahead and cleaned up my cats messes. Which, I feel bad because that NEVER happens but she was on top of it and sent me photos so I knew what was going on. She just did drop in visits every couple days since I have an auto feeder and she actually spent the full time scheduled with my cats! They were all over her and she described their personalities exactly haha. I highly recommend Kate if you want someone who is thorough and actually is considerate and goes above and beyond! (Which is so hard to find in Miami FYI!)

Kate did an amazing job taking care of Cashew. She was respectful, kind, clean, prompt and sweet to Cashew. I highly recommend Kate and will use her in the future.

Because my place is small, I cannot offer doggy daycare at this time. However, when I am dropping by or walking your pet, I will always communicate with you via pictures and texts. I am happy to give as much information as you would like. I know from personal experience that for 30 minutes, I'm hoping my dog sitter sends me 60 photos, 2 videos, and a psychoanalysis on how my dogs are doing that day ;) So don't feel like your requests for pictures are a burden at all. I can work with high or low energy, big or small! Happy to walk reactive dogs, and always willing to take greetings slow if your pet is shy.

If I'm walking your dog, please let me know if they have any triggers and if there's any areas to avoid in your neighborhood. And let me know if you're ok with people/dogs greeting them or if we should avoid it.
A typical day
If we're inside, I love using things around the house like blankets or towels and some kibble for a make shift puzzle toy. I also love to play fetch or tug! I'll let your dog teach me how they like to play best.

Availability
I am a medical student with only research responsibilities this summer, so my schedule is flexible! Nothing is better than getting a fun walk or a cuddle with a new friendly face. I will always communicate with you, I'm open to any size dog, and I have a flexible schedule. I have walked as big as 130 lb and 110 lb together, and as small as 5 lb. I'll work with you! Because I exercise my own dogs in the morning, my preference for pet care is mid afternoon, however I can make anytime work! My main availability is after 8/9 AM, so I can walk my dogs first thing. I can make exceptions on a case by case basis, so just send me a message and ask! I'm so looking forward to making new fur friends!!
