I also offer pet sitting at hotels. Are you staying at a pet friendly hotel but can't leave your pet alone in the hotel room? I offer constant care so your pet is not left alone while you are away from the hotel. Please send me a message regarding prices as this is an hourly service and prices are not reflected on my Rover page. Mileage rates also apply for hotel bookings outside downtown Toronto. As a resident of the Yorkville/Rosedale areas, it would be my pleasure to take care of your canine family member! Originally from Manitoba, I have been around all types of animals my entire life. Animals bring me the greatest joy! I am a confident handler having worked with animals that have a variety of behavioral quirks and temperaments. When initially reaching out, please include as many details as possible, and then we can further the discussion at an in-person meet and greet. I have the flexibility in my schedule to ensure your animal(s) needs are my priority. Having been around animals my whole life, I understand the importance of maintaining a schedule, proper behaviour, as well as regular walks/exercise. I am very familiar with the best places to go walking and what leashed parks to visit in downtown Toronto. A few of my smaller dog clients even like joining me at different coffee shops to people watch and soak up all the attention they get! When caring for your pet(s), I follow the owners rules and wishes, always watching your pet to make sure they are safe, as well as making sure the pet feels at ease (and also that you feel at complete ease) while you are away by playing with them, providing them with lots of love and attention, as well as practicing proper behaviour while you are away.

Kate is professional, kind, and an angel. If you do not read my entire review, we 1000% recommend Kate's services. Since booking with Kate, my husband and I now travel without any worry because we know our home, Chester, and Ollie are in extremely good hands. We appreciate her so much. Last year we were referred to Kate by someone in our community. We were hesitant to leave our dogs (especially Ollie) with someone we did not know due to a negative experience we had with someone else in the past. Since that experience my husband and I had wanted to travel again but we would get so much anxiety about leaving our two dogs that we decided to put off travelling - this was until we met Kate. Our dog Ollie is a rescue that arrived to us from a very troubled past. Ollie does not like most people and will hide when strangers enter our home. Kate was a complete stranger to us before the meet and greet, so we warned her that Ollie might run away and hide (and that she might not even see him during the meet and greet)... but less than 30 minutes after Kate arrived, Ollie was cuddled up beside her completely at ease. My husband and I were in disbelief and wanted to cry happy tears. We booked with her immediately. My husband now jokes that our travel schedule will forever depend on Kate's schedule because other than family, Kate is the only person we trust in our home and with our "fur children." Kate is the absolute best!
I can't tell you how much we appreciate Kate taking care of our pup AND our house while we're away! We were out of the country for 7 nights and I had zero concerns about anything back home while we were away, which makes for a much better vacation. We got constant updates with photos and videos, which we absolutely love and which gives us such peace of mind that Scout is perfectly happy and taken care of. We've used Kate a bunch of times already and will continue to do so!
