I work fully remote, so I’m home all day to keep your pets company! That means lots of attention, outdoor time, cuddles, enrichment breaks, and walks on the nearby trails. I’m flexible on weekdays and weekends for boarding, day care, and drop-ins!

Your pet will stay in a cozy, calm home with a very large fenced yard and a secondary internal fence/gate that lets me safely separate outside play if needed. There’s also a dog door for easy (or fully supervised!) outdoor time, and we have access to great walking trails nearby. I’m dog and cat first-aid certified and can crate, separate pets for meals, or keep things quiet for more sensitive animals. Our resident dog is friendly, gentle, and very submissive, so new buddies often feel at ease quickly. I’m home all day to supervise and make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and cared for.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs, quirks, or behaviors so I can tailor their care and keep them comfortable. I’m dog and cat first-aid certified and happy to follow any routines, training cues, feeding schedules, or medication needs. I have extra crates, dog beds, bowls, toys, and even a dog bath with grooming supplies if your pup needs a quick clean-up. I can also separate pets for meals or downtime to help everyone feel safe and relaxed. Anything your pet needs, I’ll make sure they have it!
A typical day
I love keeping dogs mentally and physically stimulated throughout the day! We’ll do food puzzles (I have tons!), play fetch or chase in the big backyard, explore the neighborhood on walks, and practice any basic commands you’re working on. I have multiple toy bins, extra bowls, comfy dog beds, and crates if needed. If your pup gets messy or needs a rinse, we even have a dog bath and grooming supplies in our basement. If they enjoy company, they can also play with my friendly resident dog. And obviously, plenty of snuggles on the couch.

I’ve cared for dogs and cats for over 12 years and have experience with training puppies and dogs. I also spent two years working with a certified dog behaviorist, so I’m great at reading doggy body language and helping shy or anxious pups settle in. I’m dog and cat first-aid certified, and safety is always my top priority. We have a very large fenced yard, nearby walking trails, and a friendly, calm, submissive resident dog who loves new buddies. Your pup gets structure, snuggles, and plenty of fun in a relaxed, loving home!

Kate is incredible! My two dogs love spending time at her house. Awesome yard and space to play. Kate has a great attention to detail especially when it comes to my dog’s care instructions and personalities. Kate was a perfect sitter for our dog! Our big German Shepard can be a bit unruly but she kept a good handle on him. She also updated us daily about how he was doing, with pictures and videos. She even brought him some Christmas gifts which was incredibly sweet. Kate was also super accommodating of my celiac disease. Overall couldn’t have asked for better!!!
Kate and co were great with River! Excellent communicators and River clearly loved her time there. Their dog Bucky is an absolute sweetheart. Would absolutely book again!
