Pet care experience
Big Yard, Full-Time Care
I've cared for dogs and cats for 13+ years, including two years working with a certified dog behaviorist, so I'm comfortable with everything from puppies to reactive dogs and anxious pups. I'm dog and cat first-aid certified, and safety is always my top priority. Your dog gets a large fenced yard, nearby walking trails, and a calm, submissive resident dog who loves making new friends, all in a home where someone is genuinely present all day, every day. I keep my groups intentionally small (never more than 3 dogs) so every pup gets real one-on-one attention, not just supervised chaos.

Kate is incredible! My two dogs love spending time at her house. Awesome yard and space to play. Kate has a great attention to detail especially when it comes to my dog’s care instructions and personalities. She is an amazing communicator and sends pictures, which makes me feel comfortable leaving my dogs with her. Bucky, the resident dog, is so sweet and my dog’s new best friend. I highly recommend Kate!! We look forward to continue being repeat clients. See you again soon.

Kate was a perfect sitter for our dog! Our big German Shepard can be a bit unruly but she kept a good handle on him. She also updated us daily about how he was doing, with pictures and videos. She even brought him some Christmas gifts which was incredibly sweet. Kate was also super accommodating of my celiac disease. Overall couldn’t have asked for better!!!

Kate and co were great with River! Excellent communicators and River clearly loved her time there. Their dog Bucky is an absolute sweetheart. Would absolutely book again!

She did a great job taking care of our dog. Gave daily updates and was very communicative.

Kate was incredible with Eloise, even when Eloise was very nervous and not her best self. She was patient, calm, and worked completely at Eloise’s pace, never pushing her past her comfort level. Kate’s sweet dog Bucky was gentle and polite, which really helped Eloise settle in. By the end of the visit, Eloise was cuddling and feeling safe — a huge win for her. Kate truly understands anxious dogs, and I felt completely confident leaving Eloise in her care. We’re so grateful to have found her and Bucky!

Katie was great at communicating and made sure Foggy had a great day! I felt so comfortable with her watching him and would highly recommend her to anyone!

Schedule
I work fully remote and am genuinely home all day, every day, especially when I'm taking care of a dog. My last 10-day boarding stay, the dog was alone for a total of 4 hours. That's just how I operate! That means real supervision, not just check-ins, with regular outdoor time, walks on nearby trails, enrichment breaks, and plenty of couch time. I'm available for boarding and daycare seven days a week. I love to do a meet and greet plus a trial daycare day before a first boarding stay, just so our dogs can get acquainted and I can make sure your pup feels at home.
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Your pet stays in a calm home with a large fenced yard, a secondary internal gate for safe off-leash separation, and a dog door for supervised outdoor access. I'm dog and cat first-aid certified and comfortable with crating, meal separation, and managing sensitive or special-needs animals. Our resident dog is gentle and very submissive, so new dogs tend to settle in quickly. I'm home all day, so nothing goes unsupervised.
Pets
A typical day
We start with backyard time and a walk on the nearby trails, then work in food puzzles, fetch, training practice if you're working on commands, and plenty of downtime. I have toy bins, extra beds, crates, bowls, and even a dog bath with grooming supplies for post-adventure cleanup. If they enjoy other dogs, my resident dog is a friendly, calm playmate. And yes, couch snuggles are mandatory. I love sending updates and photos throughout the day, but I'm happy to adjust based on what works for you. Some pet parents love constant check-ins, others prefer a daily summary. Just let me know your style!
