Kate and her family were amazing! Kate was very attentive and accommodating to my dogs comfort and quirks. She was a great and responsive communicator and sent plenty of photos that showed how well taken care of my dog was during her stay. We are so appreciative for their last minute help, thank you!

Kate looked after our Coonhound Copper and two cats, Helo and Kara while we were away in Europe for a couple of weeks. Her being in our neighborhood helped keep our pets home in their familiar space, while still having social interactions and care. She checked on them multiple times a day, and took Copper out for lots of long walks. When we got home, our pets were happy and healthy. We would recommend Kate to look at your pets while you're away!

We left Luna with Kate for around three weeks during our holidays, and she was absolutely amazing with her. She sent us pictures and updates without us even having to ask. Kate truly went above and beyond — completely on her own initiative, she noticed that our pet is allergic to animal protein and needed extra care. During our absence, she proactively baked vegan cookies for Luna and provided her with probiotics, always keeping us informed, to help her eat while we were away. Luna absolutely adores her — I could tell right away. Kate also helped us walk Luna before our trip, and she was attentive to Luna at all times. You can clearly see that Kate genuinely loves dogs and has a lot of experience. I highly recommend her!

She used to take care of my pup who was 13 yrs old with diabetes. Shes loving and caring to animals. She sometimes took my cat for days and he loved them and she and her family loved him. As a mom of 2 beautiful children, she’s sweet to animals. I have no complaints and never worried when she had my dog and cat. I strongly recommend her👍🏼

Schedule

I currently work from home and go into the office once a week. My workplace is in close proximity which allows me to drop in when it is needed. I go for minimum 2 walks a day to target 10k steps which means that your pup would be my companion during those walks 💕

Safety, trust & environment

I don’t personally own any pets so the home will be pet free. I have two teens who also help keep the dogs entertained when they are free but walks, feeding and main care lies on my sole responsibility. I live in a 3 story townhome which have a small front and backyard which are both fenced. We live in a great community by parks and a ravine. I usually do not do home care, however, I have had clients where I do several visits a day to ensure the home is clean and safe for their pets and also committing to walks and the dogs well-being while they are gone.

A typical day

I love going on runs or longer brisk walks twice a day. Starting with slower ones to get some sniffs in followed by something a little more brisk to get the exercise in. I like to change up the routes so it’s always interesting and fun. I go rain or shine and will ensure the appropriate care is given during a hot or very wet day. When at home, I take lead from the pet I’m taking care of, cuddles or alone time and or even games and tug-o-war. My teen children are also pet lovers. Your pet will be so loved and spoiled during their time with us.
