Stay at home mom, fenced in yard!
We are an extremely dog friendly family with kids who will love to pet and play with your pup! I work 3 mornings/week and my husband works from home, so your pup will have lots of love and attention as we are never out of the house for too long. My husband and I grew up with and have owned golden retrievers, labs, and mutts. We have a 5 year old lab mix who is very friendly with other dogs. She is playful and loves to run, and would love to have a playmate to run around in the backyard with! We have dog-sat for many breeds of dogs and are comfortable with any breed. Avoid a dog boarding facility; we are ready to take your pup in with great care and attention! We have a fenced in yard and can take your dog on leash for 2 walks a day! We can accommodate your dog's individual needs and will take care to treat him or her just as you would at home. Plenty of exercise, lots of love - you can enjoy your vacation knowing your pup is in a great home away from home! All pups need to be kid friendly, as we have children in our home; However we do have dog gates to keep dogs on the first floor and give them their own space. We have 2 cats who mostly keep to themselves but we do need to ensure that dogs staying with us are not aggressive to cats should they be in the same space.

Kate took fantastic care of my border terrier, quickly getting him comfortable and settled, and she showed him lots of love throughout the week. She took him on regular walks and he even lost a little bit of weight (which he needed)! She sent us photos regularly, which we appreciated, and it was clear he was well cared for and felt at home! She was great and we’d board our dog with her again in a heartbeat!
Kate and her family provided excellent care for our two dogs, sending us photos and updates each day. There's no doubt they got plenty of attention and exercise. Kate is our preferred sitter when we are away on vacation. Highly recommended!
Kate sent me picture regularly along with a video even. She was very patient also, feeding Buster according to my instructions, walking him and letting him play with her Dad’s dog a few times...I would have no problem using her again in the future, but since we are moving out of the area soon, that is unlikely...
Kate was an exceptional sitter for our yorkie Maxwell. I explained to her that he is initially nervous around strangers and she did everything possible to ease the stress for him as we walked out the door. She quickly sent us updates on his progress and I could tell that he was enjoying himself. Kate gave us daily updates and pictures of his activities and asked questions when necessary. Max was happy and tired when we picked him up. I could tell that he really loved being around Kate and her lovely family. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
We have left Grace with Kate on four occasions now, and couldn’t be more pleased. She is super flexible, a good communicator, and Grace loves her and her family.
UGH!! I love this woman and this family! lol And more importantly, so does my Nala. Nala loves to be around children and this home is just the greatest fit for Nala.

Schedule
We have pet care already established in our daily routine with our own dog. We normally take only one other family’s dog at a time (we would ask first if there is overlap) and we feed dogs separately to avoid any food aggression. We walk the dogs in the morning and the evening.

We have a fenced in yard and I can provide a lot of hands-on care and attention since I am mostly home during the day. You can rest assured that your pup is being taken care of and loved on just as much as our own dog is - just like a member of our family!

We take walks around the neighborhood or in the path through the woods near our home. We love to play in the yard, throwing the ball for fetch or just being outside together.
