Dogs really are the best people.
Things to know about me: 1. I’ve been dog-obsessed since before the age of 5. I’m now 40(ish), and still have to control my natural and immediate impulse to pet every dog I see. And cats…and goats. Mostly dogs. 2. I have extensive experience with dogs of all kinds. I spent years volunteering at the SPCA. I’ve fostered, dog-sat, socialized and walked all kinds of dogs - large to small, long to short, elderly to puppies. I’ve been bitten more times than I care to admit, and I’ve still NEVER met a dog I don’t like. 3. They belong indoors, in the bed, and on the furniture. They deserve the cheese tax and also the chicken tax. There’s no such thing as a bad dog. I said what I said. In short, if you’re in or around the Dayton area and you need a walker or a day-sitter, I’ll be happy to. And I’ll love your dog like they’re my own while I’m with them.

I’m available to walk and play with your dog, let them out, give treatos or feed as needed, and work on leash training and basic commands if needed.

Kate was exactly what we needed when we had to leave our golden for a week. She spent hours with him everyday, making sure he got the play time and cuddles he needed to keep his anxiety at bay and his mind busy. He was tired out by every evening from a day of fun, and I think he was sad when Camp Kate ended. Definitely recommend Kate for anyone looking to care for your pet the way you would.
Kate has been absolutely phenomenal taking care of our pets! She sent regular updates and photos while we were away and even won over my incredibly picky cat! She was fantastic with our dog who has severe separation anxiety and took him for extra long walks to burn off his pent up energy. Highly recommend and will absolutely be using her services again!
Kate is one of those people who doesn’t know a stranger……except in dog form. I trust her with my fur babies every chance I get and she treats them like the kings and queens they are. She is loving, attentive and such a natural with animals.
Kate is so great with my dog Roscoe. She is very attentive to him and takes such good care of him when I go out of town. Kate is great about providing pictures to show how he is doing (mostly just sleeping)

Schedule
I’m currently available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. throughout the day. I’m occasionally available on weekends during the day, although that availability is a little more infrequent.
