Long-Time Animal Lover
From a young age, I started pet-sitting for my neighbors, and continue to do so for my friends as I've gotten older. Pets that I've taken care of include dogs, cats, birds, fish, frogs, rabbits, horses, and even a rooster. During the 2023 holiday season, I found myself in a position alone, and needing to provide medical care to my senior-cat learned how to administer daily SQ fluids, medications, as well as prepping food and medications to administer through a feeding tube every 4 hours. I'm a quick learner and always act accordingly to ensure an animal's well-being. On a very sad note, I lost my fur-daughter in the very early morning right after Christmas in 2023, so I'm taking a break from being a pet owner. When you select me, it makes it all the more special to enjoy the time with your pet(s), including co-sleeping! lol

Safety, trust & environment
I always make sure to check & double check the the locks when I come & go & will text the owner if I observe something out of the ordinary. When it comes to taking care of pets, I ask the owner if they want the pet to be played with or respect the boundary if they say the pet is stressed around strangers, and just focus on their basic needs of food, water, & whatever else to minimize separation anxiety. In terms of trust, I believe it can be easily lost & not always possible to get back, so I make sure to conduct myself in a way that assures all parties, & results in zero horror stories. More on trust, I worked with children starting in 2019 for 11 years consecutively before moving to Austin, and worked two seasonal Federal Government positions since 2020 & 2021.

Kate was wonderful! I usually worry about my dog when I'm away, but I was able to relax and have fun on my trip because I knew he was in excellent hands. Kate provided frequent updates and photos, and he looked like he was having a great time while I was gone. She even brought him a toy when she arrived, which won him over immediately. :)
My very anxious cat clearly had a relaxing time with Kate. Typically when I come home after a long trip, Sopie is very nervous for a few days, but not this time! Thanks Kate for taking such good care of her. <3
We can't recommend Kate highly enough! She took wonderful care of both our cat and our home while we were away. Kate was incredibly responsible and always kept us in the loop—she was extremely responsive to messages and sent us several photos a day, which gave us such peace of mind. It was clear our cat was in great hands, and we came home to a happy pet and a well-cared-for house. If you're looking for a cat sitter you can genuinely trust, Kate is the one. We'll absolutely be using her again!

Kate was the first sitter we had actually stay as a houseguest instead of just doing drop in sessions. We had a lot of questions from Kate that helped me realize what I need to include for a guest book next time. 😅 Kate did a good job of communicating with us regarding Nelly's activities each day and sending photos.
Kate is extremely professional and communicates very well. She cared for our 2 very large dogs while staying in our home. I would recommend her to anyone needing a trustworthy sitter.

Schedule
**I am currently out of town & will not be available for Meet & Greets until after July 21. I'm currently starting my own consulting practice & stay in more often than not. so for the most part I am flexible as long as I have an Internet connection. For doggies, I do prefer low-energy ones , & preferably that can go up to 8 hours before needing to be let outside in case I have something going on during the day such as an in-person workshop, but I'm happy to have a quick conversation about their schedule and compare it to mine during the time they'll be in my care, since mine varies on a week-to-week basis.
