Trustworthy Cat Mom in Arlington
I've been taking care of cats since I was 12, and I've been a proud cat mom to my own fur baby, Fiji, since 2017. I love all animals, but especially have a soft spot for cats! Growing up with many animals, I understand how important it is to find someone who will care for your pet just like you do. I've used Rover before as a pet parent, so I have been in your shoes, and I try to treat every cat as I would my own! I offer a variety of services, from daily feeding and litter box cleaning to administering medication (if needed). My own cat is rather shy and so I have lots of experience with shy cats. I’d love to spend time playing with your fur baby, and will send you plenty of pictures and detailed notes. I will do a kitty photoshoot for every visit!

Safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment are my top priorities when caring for pets. When I’m pet-sitting in your home, I respect your routine and your cat’s personal space. I make sure your kitty feels comfortable and at ease by following any specific instructions you provide, whether it’s about feeding, playtime, or administering medication. I always ensure that the space is safe and secure, making sure there are no hazards that could harm your pet. I also provide regular updates with photos and videos, so you can feel connected and confident that your pet is good hands!

Kate really is a cat whisperer! Our kitty cat is usually quite shy and hides from strangers, but Kate shared photos of our girl being so cuddly and welcoming 🤩 thank you Kate for taking such great care of our girl and for always being so prompt!
This was our first time having Kate check in on our kitty, and from the first set of photos it was obvious our kitty was happy and well taken care of. Kate communicated with us during the multi-day visits, including helpful comments about our cat's behavior. Highly recommend!

Kate did an amazing job taking care of my very high maintenance cat! She spent a lot of time playing with her and sent lots of pictures. She also checked in with me to make sure my cat’s behavior and runny eye were normal/healthy, which I appreciated so much. It was clear Kate really cared about my cat’s wellbeing and I truly can’t thank her enough!

Schedule
I work primarily from home, which gives me flexibility in my schedule. I’m also available most weeknight evenings and throughout the weekend as needed for your cat care.
- CatsKate can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
- Please let me know about your pets' comfort with strangers and any special needs they may have. Note that a meet and greet is required for safety purposes and to make sure you and your pet feel comfortable with me. For drop in visits, the meet and greet needs to be in your home where you pet(s) will be during our time together. These meet and greets are at no charge!
