I know pets can be anxious when their families are traveling, so I make sure to give them my undivided attention, plenty of playtime and company if they want it, and try to meet the need(s) of the individual animal(s). If the pet is shy, I will be a comforting presence and offer toys and treats on their terms. If the pet is playful and has a lot of energy, I’ll spend as much time as i can playing with them and giving them enrichment. I like to have as many details as possible about the pets’ preferences so I can customize my time with them to make them feel comfortable and content.

A typical day
I’ll play fetch with them and take them on walks. I will find out what they like to do and we will play their favorite games. They will have plenty of outdoor time if that’s what they like.

We couldn't have asked for a better sitter for our cat while we were in vacation for the week! From the moment we met Kate, we knew she would take great care of our furry friend while we were away.
