2nd time having come stay at our house to watch our dog and cat. Can’t recommend her enough. One night there was fireworks in the neighborhood and it always makes our dog very anxious. Kate went above and beyond to make sure our dogs anxiety was calmed down and was able to rest.
Kate did a wonderful job watching our pets. We received photos and a note when we got back with updates. We will be utilizing Kate’s services again!

Schedule
I am a full-time teacher who cares for animals over breaks and weekends from Friday afternoons to Sunday evenings. I accept boarding requests through the week if your dog is used to being at home while you work! My summer availability is, of course, much more open. Now accepting Spring Break Bookings! My calendar stays up to date.

I believe that dogs need frequent exercise and outdoor time, if they are able. My apartment complex has a dog park that I utilize to help the outgoing dogs get their energy out, as well as frequent walks for all of the animals in my care. Dogs are allowed on the couch and provided access to their food and water at all times, as well as their comfort spot (crate, etc.). While I may leave during the day the animals are not alone for more than a few hours at a time (on weekdays I work a full work day, but accept bookings so long as your pet is used to this schedule!). As an owner of a dog with special needs, I pay very close attention to each dogs individual needs and treat them all as if they are my own.

A typical day
I like to keep dogs busy all day and return them tired! Your dog will receive several group or individual walks each day, as well as time in the dog park (if allowed or requested) and time snuggling up on my couch!

- Please let me know if you have any concerns about your animals before dropping them off. My dog receives injected and oral medications, so I can provide this for your animal as well. If your dog is nervous in groups, let me know and I can block off the entire day for them!
