Professional dog lover & boarder!
I run a loving and friendly, fully council-licenced home from home dog boarding facility from my Victorian home called Thirlmere House! As well as being licenced and fully insured, I hold a Level Three Qualification in Professional Day Care and Boarding, meaning I'm fully qualified in all aspects of caring for dogs in a boarding setting.

Our dog Cooper has stayed with Kate a few times now over the last couple of years, we always feel that he is well looked after and part of the family, so we know we can go away without any worries, we have daily updates and photos which is always appreciated. We wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Kate, we're really glad we found her!

I can’t recommend Thirlmere House highly enough! Kate and her husband Roger are truly amazing people with the most beautiful and welcoming home. From the moment I dropped off my precious Alfie, I felt completely at ease knowing he was being cared for just like one of their own. The love, attention, and comfort they provide is second to none. He loves his holidays with them which include lots of lovely walks, trips to the pub and garden centres. He always comes home happy, relaxed, and well looked after. It’s such a relief to know that when I’m away, he’s not just being “watched” but genuinely loved. Schedule
I am fully home-based, so able to company and care for your dog seven days a week. I only leave the home for short periods when I pop to the shops. Otherwise, the dogs are with me on a country walk or a park and cafe pitstop!

Safety, trust & environment
I offer a complete home from home dog boarding service. Dogs live with us at Thirlmere House as though they are our own dog. Owners must provide bedding and food for their dogs stay, but the rest is down to us! Walk time of up to forty-five minutes per day is included in boarding costs. Additional walkies can be purchased.

A typical day
Typical day is breakfast, then a quick trip to our nearby dog field/park in Amblecote! We are very lucky that it's at the end of our road! Thirlmere House is a completely walled garden, so we love lots of outdoor play. We have garden furniture, including sunloungers just for the dogs! Three times a week, we do a much longer walk for dogs staying with us. We love going to Kinver Edge, Enville and walking by the river severn. Also heading to cafes and pubs with our doggy guests!
