Dogs and cats have been part and parcel of my life since I was a child. I’ve personally cared for both pedigree and rescue breeds over the years and am particularly sensitive to anxious pets. I have also been through professional training with a few of my own dogs so can maintain reward-based training tactics you may have started yourself while watching over your pet.

Schedule
Hi I’m Kate and married to Alessio who assists in caring for pets that stay with us! Between my husband and I, there is always somebody at home to look after pets. We have our own dog and daily walks are strict routine for us. We usually walk our own dog for at least an hour daily. We also have a large, secure garden so can accommodate dogs who needs access to outside at all hours.

We’re very aware of where dogs are, whether they’re getting enough rest, or simply need to spend some time alone. We leave our back door open when the weather is decent so dogs can come and go as they please. We maintain a regular feeding schedule and bath dogs after a muddy walk. We also have 3 separate areas with dog beds.
Pets
A typical day
We always start the morning letting pets out into the garden and with their breakfast. Fresh water is always available too. Typically our first walk of the day would be to grab a coffee and sniff around a few blocks of the neighbourhood. For longer walks, we’d either head to Highgate Woods, Priory Park or the Ally Pally. If we feel the dogs can manage it, then we might stop in at the pub for some cuddles and treats. In the evenings, we typically have a calm night in, watching TV and snuggling with pets. They have free rein of the house and garden during this time too.
