We have a very large unfenced yard and property set back 1/8 mile from the road. I am happy to monitor leashed or off leash activity as requested. We also have nearby hikes and rail trails to explore with your dog on leash!

A typical day
I love to take dogs on hikes/ jogs on nearby trails, including to the Delaware river where there are great calm, shallow pools to play fetch in and take a dip. We also have a (fenced) above ground pool if your pup enjoys a swim on a summer day!

I have been a dog owner most of my life and have experience with all sizes and ages ranging from puppy to senior/ special needs. My husband Mike has boundless affection and energy for all pups! We are both longtime brooklynites who made the move upstate to a lovely house with 9 acres of grass and woods for dogs to safely explore. I am an avid runner and am happy to tire out dogs that want to get a good jog in; our huge comfy couch and other nap spots around the house are ready for pups who prefer to simply relax. Our dog Bucky loves the company of other dogs and is happy to share his toys and treats. We are two freelancers in the film/ TV industry so between the two of us there will always be one person at home full time during the day to hang with your dog!

This was or dog Bean’s second stay with Kate and her husband. I could tell from the photos Kate sent that Bean was settled in, happy, and comfortable. It puts your mind at ease knowing your dog is being well cared for by great people in a great environment. Highly recommend their pet sitting by us, and our little Bean ❤️🐾

Kate took such amazing care of our dog Quigley! We had anxiety about our first doggy day care experience and working with Kate was such a relief. Quigley would get excited to see her as soon as we turned the corner on our her block. We always brought him home exhausted and happy. We can't recommend her enough!!!
Kate and Mike are sooooooo great with my Duke! He totally loves them and feels very at home in their apartment. Kate sent regular updates and frequent pictures. We ran into Kate in the park many months after Duke's stay and he was beside himself with joy. I'm so grateful to know people who'll love him and keep him happy and safe when we have to travel.
