Safety, trust & environment
Drop in visits would be carried out in your own home but I will ensure the health and safety of your pet throughout and comply with any instructions you give me. I will keep the walks safe and siutable for the breed and age of the dog.
Information Kate D. would like to know about your pet
I would need to know any behavioural traits the animal has and of they are reactive or aggressive. This is not an issue but I like to be prepared.
A typical day
The walks and drops in will be completely up to you and depend on the type and age of the animal. If you have an older cat I am happy to sit in the house and give them cuddles, if you have an hyper 1 year old springer spaniel I am to take take them over the park and play games with them. I also own two of my own dogs so if requested or if appropriate I could bring them along on the walks which would be great for puppy socialising.

Pet care experience
I am a student veterinary nurse. I have worked in a veterinary practice for nearly 8 years as veterinary care assistant. Before that I studied animal care and animal management. I have also had some experience of working in a farm, kennels and pet shop. Throughout my life I have dealt with various different types of animals from snakes to sheep, from new born puppies to old cats with kidney failure. I have also owned a variety of animals throughout my life, including, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, mice and chickens.
Reviews
My dog had a lovely walk and was a happy boy after. Thank you for your help. Would recommend and use again.

Kate is a very experienced walker and felt confident to entrust care for my nervous dog. She suggested a meet and greet and was so open and friendly. Very trustworthy and kind to even bring in my parcel! I would highly recommend Kate.
Always very nervous about leaving my cat, Bilbo… but Kate made it an anxiety free experience. Thank you so much and highly recommend for anyone considering a pet sitter!
Kate looked after my rottie for a couple days while I was on holiday. She was absolutely amazing with my boy. She took great care of him, feeding, taking him on walks and giving his medication as if he was her own dog. She also regularly sent photos and video updates to reassure me he was okay. Very professional and friendly, would definitely recommend!
