Safety, trust & environment

Depending on your animals likes and needs will determine how your animal is cared for. We have a fairly large home with a large fenced in yard. Our dog loves to be back and forth inside and outside all day long. We do have a large fenced in yard if your dog prefers to be outside for long periods of time or is energetic and likes to run and play. We also have a dog run if your dog is a escape artist but likes the outdoors. We love going for walks on nice days and after school hours my children love to play with new pets. We do not crate our dog but we do have a large crate if you or your pet is more comfortable with a crate.

Information Kate D. would like to know about your pet

It is very important that all dogs are on prescription flea and tick medication, are up to date on shots, and are friendly with kids and other dogs. Please provide food and written instructions on their feeding schedule and amount. Sometimes if a dog is not used to being boarded their eating may be a little off. It usually takes about 2 days for a dog not used to be boarded to get adjusted and feel comfortable. Please provide any important information like allergies, anxiety, aggression, resource guarding, etc.

A typical day

We have dog puzzles, snuffle mats, interactive treat toys and scratching board to mentally stimulate your dog, as well as tons of balls and toys. On a regular day the dogs usually will play outside running around or roaming for a little while if it is nice, then come in and cuddle/nap, and depending on the dogs they usually will play again in the afternoon after they get more energy. When the kids come home from school they are usually always playing or giving them affection. If the dogs walk nicely on a leash without pulling or being reactive we will sometimes go on a walk. The dogs have complete freedom in the house. They can go upstairs or downstairs if they need space but they usually all end up hanging out together in the same room. Feeding time is typically around 7& 6. Times can adjusted if your dog has different needs.

Pet care experience

I have owned and loved many animals my whole life. I have may years of experience from training puppies to senior care, and administering medicine and needles for diabetic animals. I am a stay at home mother who dedicates time and affection to my pets and others. I am available almost all day to let the animals out and provide whatever care they might need. I have a fully fenced in yard for your dog to run or roam. I have a 1 year old cavapoo who loves to be chased and play just as much as he loves to lay around cuddling and be around people and other dogs. I also have two young children who love animals and going on long walks and dog parks.
