Dog obsessed!
I've been working as a dog groomer for the past two years, but had to pause that to focus on my health. I've volunteered walking dogs in animal shelters, and as a child mucked horse barns and brushed/washed horses in exchange for riding lessons. 😂 I've loved animals my entire life. I was raised in a family of 2-6 dogs (it increased frequently) and will admit only here that I loved them more than I loved my sister!

I have a very nice, soft voice for any frightened pups, and am told I'm a bit of an animal whisperer. I will do my very best to connect with your animals and individualize my care in any way I can!

We love Kate! She stayed at our place for a few days while we went to Vegas.She was so great with both our dogs. We will definitely have her back for future pet sitting!
I have large guardian breeds, and finding someone I trust with them isn't something I take lightly. Kate has consistently exceeded every expectation. She's calm, confident, responsible, and has a natural ability to connect with dogs that can be intimidating to most people. What truly sets her apart is her proactive communication. I never have to wonder how things are going because she's already sent an update, photo, or thoughtful note before the question even crosses my mind. She treats communication the same way she treats pet care—with attention, professionalism, and genuine care. Kate has that rare combination of reliability and intuition. She notices the little things, anticipates needs, and makes both pets and owners feel completely at ease. Whether it's managing routines, handling strong personalities, or simply showing up consistently and dependably, she does it all with grace. My dogs don't hand out trust easily, and neither do I. Kate earned both. If Rover had a Hall of Fame, she'd be in it.
Unfortunately our sweet Squeezy passed during our time away. Kate was exceptional in taking care of her. We are forever grateful.

Schedule
I'm currently coming out of treatment and unemployed, so I have plenty of time to watch your furry friends! My only obligations are a weekly monday appointment and a biweekly friday appointment.
