Drop-Ins are great because your animal is in their own environment. Interacting with and caring for your animals is my top priority during my time with them. There is always time remaining when my work is done though and that is play time! If requested, I am happy to send photos or a summary of how things go and before leaving everything is properly cleaned and I am sure to lock up.

Typically I will meet you and your animals before finalizing a booking. This meeting takes around 15 minutes and is a great time to let me know where their items are and go over what you expect of me during my time with them. Your animal's level of training-preferred commands and phrases, certain rules likes no petting unless all 4 paws are on the ground, etc. as well as medications and any health or behavior concerns are addressed. I will also make a note of their vet’s info. Please be up front about your animals behavior, temperament, and medical needs. It takes a lot for me to shy away and for safety reasons I place great value on honesty and transparency in these areas from you.
A typical day
I love helping to keep your pets on their regular schedule and doing the things they're used to. Things like feeding wet and dry food, laying down fresh water, snuggling, playing.. I’m great at all of it, even getting the mail or watering house plants.

Since joining Rover in 2016 I've met some of the most amazing animals and hope to meet you and yours soon, too. I have experience caring for cats and dogs of all types. From injecting medication to, well, belly rubs. My handsome hubby, Thomas, is a Rover sitter as well and he enjoys helping out from time to time. Our son, Isaiah, is with us part time and also enjoys tagging along when given the opportunity. He's a natural with all animals, it's something to be seen. Together we've cared for the largest Anatolian Shepherd, a crew of four Great Danes and on down to a few Chihuahuas and a Mini Poodle with a pedicure. Oh and of course, lots of kitties and cats!
