Professional Foster Pet Mom
Although always a pet owner and lover, we have opened our home to foster pets over the last five years. We have had small litters of puppies, kittens, have helped train and socialize and can offer quiet space for shy animals to decompress. We are an active family and would ensure dogs are getting lots of outdoor time in a safe and loving environment.

We left our baby girl with Kate and her beautiful family. We have been so at ease while away because she has been so good about communicating with pictures and updates daily. We couldn’t be happier with the care she’s given our Piper. We will definitely use them again when the need arises.

Rosie amd Harper had the best time with Kate and her family. Kate kept in touch with me about them and sent pictures. She made it easy to leave them with her.
Kate and her family were wonderful! Our dog is an old man and not always steady on his feet, I was grateful to Kate’s husband for carrying him downstairs when he had decided to explore upstairs! They are a lovely family and obviously love animals. I couldn’t imagine anyone better to look after our dog.

Schedule
I have the benefit of working from home so I am always available. I have flexibility to take breaks if attention is needed, and have also had experience with plenty of middle of the night wake-ups for puppies not quite ready to make it through the night.

A typical day
Our days typically start with breakfast and a walk. We have several great local hiking trails if your dog is comfortable with car rides, and alternately live in a very scenic area with lots of local options that we don’t need to drive to!
