Hi there! I have been around all kinds of animals my whole life, especially dogs! I grew up on a farm in rural Ontario, Canada with horses, goats, chickens, sheep, cats, dogs, rabbits, etc. We lost our sweet old yellow lab Ginger last year and adopted a German Shepherd mix Tessa several months later to befriend our other lab, Deek. I was an au pair in Australia where one of my responsibilities included their three dogs, two working Kelpies Gus and Buddy as well as a Jack Russel Toby. In the last three years I've lived in the UK and regularly used Trusted Housesitters to explore the country while getting to love and care for some of the sweetest critters!! Having grown up with dogs constantly, I find myself missing them endlessly and thought that this could be an excellent way to curb the desire to own a dog of my own as it is not feasible at this time!

I grew up with farm animals so am very easy to adapt to whatever situation is needed! I've given medication and care to all types of animals including dogs and cats, have helped with some walk training processes when I worked at a pet store during my uni degree for 3 years, as well as just growing up with my own pets! I am more than willing to accommodate any and all requests for care and additional pet related tasks!

Katie was great to have look after and walk our dogs, was a massive help as it was on such short notice, they clearly felt very comfortable with her and met all of their needs, i would 100% be happy for her to look after them again

Schedule
I'm currently studying my PGCE in Lancaster and missing having pets around greatly! I've never lived without any pets before and would love to have a bit of fun with your pets as I can't have my own at this time!

- I am willing to take on any dogs/cats, most of my experience is with larger dogs having lived and then worked on a farm. This does benefit me I feel as it's easier to adjust to smaller dogs rather than the other way around but I will take any advice or instruction you can provide!!
