Experience: - 3 years experience of volunteering at a vet where I assisted in many procedures & check ups, caring for animals boarding over night post-op, and tending to animals and owners’ needs during their visit - experience in raising my own Maltese pup since he was 3mos old for 15+ yrs - lots of experience dog walking and dog sitting for family, neighbors, and friends. I will care for your pet as if it is my own. Long walks, play time, cuddling and pampering! I have another roommate who also have experience with dog sitting, fostering, and have owned dogs. We have dog sat many dogs, who we walked, bathed, groomed, and fed for days to weeks at a time. We love dogs but can’t commit to having one at the moment so we love dog sitting.

Kate is fantastic! She is very attentive, and she provided lots of updates.
Kate has been providing daycare for my new puppy on a daily basis. She is communicative, logs daily activities, provides reports at the end of each day, and takes many photos. She has also been flexible. Should I ever need to adjust drop off or pick up times. She has also been assisting with working on training and issues the puppy is having with fears (I.e. anything that makes loud noises, especially on walks). I will continue to hire her when she is available, highly recommend.
Kate was the MVP can’t thank her enough for going to check on my cat last minute during a winter storm. Was super communicative and nice!
I can't contain my love for Kate! When my dog got a little sunburned the day before I was supposed to travel for a work trip, I almost canceled. But Kate assured me she would take good care of him. She kept me updated and asked thorough questions to ensure my pup was well cared for. She sent plenty of photos and spoiled Aspen as if he were her own. I will definitely rebook with her again.
Kate is GREAT! She took wonderful care of my little guy and sent me pictures with updates. He was so comfortable with her. Would I request Kate’s dog boarding services again? Absolutely!
Kate did a wonderful job taking care of my older pup. She sent me updates and pictures and texted me if she had any questions or concerns. Chloe looked comfortable and that made me feel much better. I would book with Kate in the future!

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible as I’m currently on break from law school When your dog is booked with me, I try my best to schedule my plans around the dog (I.e. planning walks with friends) other than that I really try to keep my social plans to a minimum (esp if a puppy is boarding). I’m home most of the time unless I have important appointments or running quick errands. I try not to overwhelm my calendar with dog boarding because of this reason(wanting to give my 100% to the dog) & try to be very intentional when I accept clients.

I care for pets in my home as if they were my own and beyond. I take dog sitting seriously! Lots of play time and I also let them do their own thing while I check in periodically.
A typical day
We go around everywhere, long walks, and playing whatever the dog likes to play! It’ll differ on case by case since every dog has different preferences.
