Availability
I currently work a full-time job during the week, so my weekday availability is limited to mornings before work and evenings after I return home (typically an 8-hour workday). During that time, I’m not able to provide midday check-ins. That said, I make sure every pet in my care gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care before and after work. On weekends, I have much more flexibility and availability throughout the day. If your pet is comfortable with this schedule, I’d love to help and provide them with reliable, loving care!

I always like to know as much as possible before watching a pet so I can give them the best care. Things like their daily routine, energy level, favorite toys, and any quirks or fears (like loud noises or strangers) are super helpful. If they take medication, have allergies, or don’t get along with other animals, I definitely want to know ahead of time. Every pet is different, and I want to make sure they feel safe, happy, and understood.
A typical day
A typical day with me includes plenty of playtime, attention, and care tailored to each pet’s personality. For dogs, that might mean neighborhood walks, fetch, or puzzle toys to keep them engaged. For cats, I love interactive play, window watching, and respecting their space when they need alone time. With my own cats, I’ve gotten creative with enrichment one of their favorite games is floating treats on bottle caps in a shallow bowl of water. It kept them curious and active in a safe, fun way! I’m always looking for ways to make pets feel stimulated, relaxed, and loved while you're away.

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up around animals and have always had cats in the house, along with a sweet family dog. From a young age, I learned how to care for pets with love and patience, whether that meant cleaning litter boxes, going on daily walks, or giving lots of snuggles and attention. That early experience made me confident and comfortable handling pets with all kinds of personalities. Throughout high school and college I regularly walked, fed, and stayed overnight with neighbors’ pets including long stays with dogs and puppies. One of my longest pet sitting jobs was over two weeks, caring for two dogs (including a high-energy puppy) and making sure they got outside for walks multiple times a day. At home now, I have a playful cat named Ash who loves birdwatching and nap time, and we’re currently fostering an adorable kitten named Winnie. He’s full of curiosity and affection and has been adjusting well to life with Ash. It’s been so fun watching their personalities develop and helping them bond. I’ve also looked after pets with different energy levels and needs, like energetic dogs and shy cats, making sure each one feels comfortable and cared for. I treat every animal like they’re my own, with plenty of attention, affection, and respect for their routines.
