LOVE dogs and the outdoors
I have volunteered at veterinary clinics, animal shelters, wildlife sanctuaries and have about 10 years of experience working as an animal care volunteer. I have worked caring for domestic animals such as dogs and horses as well as several wild animals. I have privately dog sat for about 3 years done and I have had two dogs, as well as other pets, since I was a kid. Most recently my husband and I adopted a senior english staffordshire terrier (a short pitty!) and although we spent a good 4 years with her she has recently crossed the rainbow bridge and we are ready to open our home to new pups! I have a Bachelors degree in psychology from The Ohio State University and a law degree (J.D.) from the University of Sydney (Australia) where I lived for the past 7 years. I am now in NYC and I looking to continue my career in environmental justice and conservation.

We feel so fortunate to find Katalyna and her family!! This was the first time she took care of our dog and we could not have had a better experience. Katalyna is an excellent communicator and provided a warm and caring home for Frankie. We highly recommend Katalyna!!
Katalyna and her family did a great job taking care of Louie. They welcomed him into their family, took him on little adventures around the neighborhood and sent us daily updates. Would definitely book with them again!
Katalyna and her family took great care of Romy while we were away! She sent many updates and made sure he got plenty of outdoor time, even in the harsh nyc winter ☺️. romy came back happy and even better behaved than before. Thank you Katalyna!
Katalyna is our go to for Puffin. He is always excited to go to hers and is treated like one of the family. Plenty of updates where he is clearly having a good time.

Kat and her family were so amazing with my Miles! He can be a handful and they were very patient, understanding, caring and just overall amazing with him. Miles was with Kat for a little over 2 weeks and I feel as if he is better trained since I picked him up 2 days ago. I can’t say enough about Kat and her family ❤️!

I have a spacious apartment with no other pets or children and and live in a calm and quite neighborhood. Although we do not have a yard, I am available to walk or play with your pet as often as necessary.

I want to make sure that your pet is relaxed, comfortable and happy while in my care. I can go on walks, runs, have play-time or lounge at home. I will make sure they always have clean water, food and meds at appropriate times and all the cuddles your pet wants!
