Welcome to my Rover profile! I'm Kat 😺, and I'm absolutely thrilled to start building connections with both clients and their furry companions. I'm delighted to share that I am currently pursuing my veterinary education. As I embark on this exciting journey, I would be honored to dedicate my time to getting to know and caring for your beloved pet. What distinguishes me as a pet sitter is my deep bond with animals, my solid veterinary background, and my unwavering dedication to their well-being. I've earned a vet assisting certification from high school and hold a bachelor's degree in biology. My experience as a veterinary technician in various clinics has honed my skills in animal handling, medication administration, and ensuring their safety. Over the years, I've lovingly provided exceptional care and affection to pets belonging to family and friends. Whether your pets are energetic puppies or cherished senior companions, I am here to provide them with the specialized care they deserve. I have a special place in my heart for senior pets and understand their unique needs. In fact, I owned a 16-year-old childhood dog, whom I cherished since second grade, and a beloved 7-year-old cat 🐱.

Kat is incredible. She has done house sitting for me on multiple occasions. She’s wonderful with my German Shepherd and is also terrific at managing house tasks as needed. I can trust her and appreciate her regular communication and updates. I highly recommend Kat!
Kat has house and dog sat for us multiple times now, and she is the best! She takes such great care of our dog, including giving her daily medicine. After our last trip, our flight was slightly delayed and she even stayed later than planned to keep our pup company. We love Kat and can’t recommend her enough!
Kat went above and beyond with our two cats. We typically have friends or family watch our cats, but one of our cats recently has some special needs so we wanted someone with more experience. Kat's background was a good match. She was communicative during the visits and we really appreciated the pictures and videos. We will definitely be using her again in the future.
Kathleen seemed to do great with my 2 cats. I appreciate the photos she sent! I also had to change the dates of the request and she was accommodating with that. Unfortunately, she copied the wrong dates to her calendar, so my cats went a day with no food, hence the lower rating.
Kat was wonderful with our pup! She sent a lot of pictures, documented all of our dogs’ meals and treats, and left us with a very happy dog and clean house. It was super comforting to know that our dog was being taken care of by such a kind and knowledgeable future vet.
Kat was fabulous to work with! She took great care of our cat and made sure she was happy & healthy while we were out of town.

Here are key details to keep in mind: veterinary contact, vaccination records, behavioral traits, exercise and activity needs, feeding schedule, dietary preferences, and emergency contacts. During each visit, I guarantee to provide check-ins both before and after, along with sending photos and a brief description of the visit.
