Pet care is something I naturally build into my daily routine. I treat it as a priority, not a side task—whether it’s early morning walks, mid-day check-ins, or evening feedings. I structure my schedule to allow plenty of time for each visit, so I’m never rushing and can give every pet the full attention they deserve. Caring for animals genuinely brings me joy, so making time for them throughout the week feels less like work and more like a rewarding part of my day.

Safety, trust & environment

I always aim to create a safe, calm, and comfortable environment—whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their established routines, from feeding and walk schedules to playtime and any special instructions. I keep things clean, respectful, and quiet to help pets feel secure while their owners are away. In my own space, I make sure it’s pet-friendly, free of hazards, and stocked with essentials like clean water, cozy resting areas, and plenty of enrichment. No matter the setting, I give pets my full attention, read their body language closely, and adjust to whatever helps them feel happiest and most at ease.

Information Kat S. would like to know about your pet

It’s really important to me that clients share anything unique about their pet’s behavior, triggers, health needs, or routine—especially things like reactivity, medication schedules, feeding preferences, or quirks that help them feel safe and comfortable. Even small details, like if they get anxious around certain sounds or prefer a specific walking route, help me give them the best possible care. The more I know, the better I can tailor my approach and make sure your pet feels at ease while you’re away.

A typical day

I love keeping pets engaged, active, and happy—so I tailor activities to their energy levels and personalities. For high-energy pups, that might mean long walks, games of fetch, or structured play to burn off steam. For more relaxed pets, we might do slow strolls, sniffing adventures, or cozy cuddle time. I’m also big on mental stimulation, so I like incorporating enrichment toys, training games, or puzzle feeders when appropriate. My goal is always to make sure they’re not just cared for—but having a great time while you’re away!

Pet Care You Can Count On!

Pet care experience

Hi there! I’ve worked with dogs for years and truly love getting to know each one’s personality, routine, and needs. What sets me apart from other sitters is the hands-on experience I gained at Healthy Spot LLC in Santa Monica, where I worked as a certified dog bather. There, I learned far more than just grooming—I became well-versed in canine body language, health monitoring, and how to handle dogs with all kinds of temperaments, including nervous or high-energy pups. I bring that same knowledge and patience to every walk, drop-in, or overnight stay. I’m calm, attentive, and always focused on making sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. Whether your pup needs a slow, relaxed walk or a high-energy play session, I adjust to their vibe and make sure they’re getting exactly what they need. I’m reliable, communicative, and treat every pet like they’re part of my own little pack.

Kat was absolutely amazing with our 3 kitties! She sent lots of photos and provided extremely detailed notes at every visit. I felt so comfortable knowing Kat would be coming over twice a day to take care of them. She gave medicine to one of our cats as well. We can't wait to have her catsit again!

Kat was amazing. She had open communication with us and would provide us with AMAZING Rover reports. Its like we were there. Padme has separation anxiety and she took the time and gave her time space to approach her without rushing. 10000000% would recommend!!!!!!!!

Kat was super communicative and went out of her way to ensure my three cats were well taken care of while I was out of town for a week. She asked detailed questions prior to accepting the job, which made me feel confident in the level of care that she would be providing.

Kat is wonderful. The best dog sitter ever! She stayed at my house for 12 days and took wonderful care of my 3 Jack Russell Terriers. When I came home they looked great and very happy. Additionally, Kat went above and beyond and cleaned the house and washed all the linens and towels which was very helpful to me. I highly recommend Kat and she will be my first call if I need help with the dogs in the future.
