Availability
I am very flexible with my availability. I have a large, fenced yard. I can watch up to 3 dogs safely at one time. Even with my fenced yard, I never leave a dog outside unsupervised. The safety and well-being of any pet in my care is my top priority. I am willing to travel and stay at other’s homes for extended care. I am available to daily medicate dogs or cats, provide walks and play time, or whatever service is needed.

I have a large, fenced yard with plenty of room to run and play safely. I have a very large, energetic dog who loves running and playing with other dogs. We have balls and frisbees to play fetch and a kiddie pool for doggy refreshing.

Information Kat S. would like to know about your pet
Any medical conditions or social anxieties are important to know. Some dogs get nervous/aggressive around children, other dogs, loud noises, etc. I intend every interaction to be a positive one. By knowing each dog’s individual quirks beforehand, we can safely avoid potential altercations and just have fun!
A typical day
Depending on each dog’s personality, we go wherever the most fun is! Social dogs enjoy the playgrounds, parks, and community areas nearby and meeting new friends. More timid dogs can enjoy exploring less populated areas such as the numerous open space areas. There are several different areas to enjoy, all with exciting smells!

Pet care experience
I am a certified vet tech since passing the national boards exam in 2009. Since then, I have worked as an emergency, laboratory, treatment, overnight and/or preventative care technician. I am no longer interested in the “business” of veterinary medicine, I am only interested in the care and well-being of animals and conscientious owners. I am very empathetic and have “fear-free” training with animals. I love animals and they love me. I can understand their fear of new people and places and take the time that is necessary to alleviate those fears. I take the care of these amazing creatures very seriously, but always have fun 😊.

Another great job by Kat. I had a family emergency with very short notice and she was able to accommodate our request

Kat has been an absolute lifesaver for us - couldn’t recommend her enough! After moving from the UK to the US earlier this year, I was anxious about finding someone who could look after my nervous dog who has never stayed with anyone other than family. Kat was more than understanding with us when we wanted to arrange a few visits beforehand so Vinnie could get to know her. It’s meant that we’ve been able to enjoy a short vacation without worrying about him. She was also very accommodating when we announced we’d adopted a second dog a week before! We’ve had lots of photos and updates which has been really great, and I think Vinnie and Boone are already looking forward to the next time!

Kat was very professional and provided a bunch of pictures for us! Our mastiff mixes loved her 🩷 we will definitely book again!
Kat always does a great job, and my cat loves her!
