I am currently working full time, Monday through Friday from 8:00-5:00 but am available on the weekends. I am more than happy to stay at your house during the week but just know that I will be away from your animal during my work day but I can, if needed, go back to your house on my lunch break to take your dog for a walk or take care of any medication administration.

I will usually ask you your pet's routine. When does he/she get fed in the morning? When do they go for their walk? Do they like playing outside? Favorite toy? When is dinner? I will stick to that routine so that your pet feels comfortable and happy when you are away. I will always ask if you need me to do anything around your house as well. I will water your plants for you, take out the trash/recycling, or get your mail. I am very tidy and will never leave a mess after I leave.

The only things that are really important for me to know are things like special medications, injections, or exercise. I am apt to take care of all of those things.
A typical day
There will be lots of fun while I am taking care of your pet or pets. I am a pretty high energy person which means (if it is not too hot out) there will lots of walks outside and lots of playing. I do like to know, though, what you as an owner like to do with your dog/cat so I can make them feel comfortable and happy.

Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover since I can remember. I have grown up with cats, dogs, and horses my whole life and have loved every moment of it. I started pet sitting for clients in my late twenties and really enjoy doing it. I have helped take care of cats, dogs, horses, and chickens (I know crazy!). They have ranged through all of the age groups. Clients seem to like me and have repeatedly asked me pet sit/house sit for them. Your pets are in great hands with me :)

Kat is absolutely wonderful. Her communication, from the time we first connected, has been exceptional. She took such good care of our girl Hannah and even played in the snow with her! She stayed in touch, as needed, while we were away. I would highly recommend her and hope we can continue to book with her.
First let me say this was the first time I used Rover for dog sitting. I was very nervous since we had never left our new puppy with anyone. It took about five searches to find someone available and I was so happy it was Kat!!! She was amazing, she truly took care of my pup and kept me updated the entire time we were away. She needed to come back after we returned to pick it up something she left and my pup was so excited to see her. After she left he stood at the door for 10 minutes waiting for her to return. That reassured me that he was so totally cared for. I will use her again and again and recommend her to all my friends and family.
Kat did a fantastic job taking care of my dog Oscar (and my apt) for four days, I highly recommend and hope she’s available next time I need a dog sitter!
Kat was very good about easing my fears prior to our time away. We have never left our pets with someone we didn't know but Kat came over for a meet and greet and calmed those fears. Our dog was fine the entire time we were away.
