Pet care experience
My home is your dog’s trusted space
I have taken care of dogs and other animals since I was 15. These include family and neighbour’s pets. I have a love for animals and can recognise different behaviours. This is especially important when caring for dogs on walks and establishing routine/trust and obedience. I volunteered at a cat rescue charity for 3 years after uni and understand the importance of hygiene and security. I can administer medication safely to animals, especially cats (my family cat Misty had heart issues and was on medication for 4 years). I have minded several dog breeds from a range of ages from 1+ to 16 years before signing upto Rover: Yorkie, Schnauzer, Cocker Spaniel and Parsons Jack Russell to name a few. I am experienced with senior dog care as my family have a senior dog called Ruby. I look forward to looking after your dog or cat in my home. Any questions or doggy/moggy instructions, please ask!

Superb, Five star plus. Kat understood that Islay our Welsh Springer was getting on and would find separation from us difficult. Kat absolutely put our mind to rest with her caring manner from the first minute we met. Kat let us tss as ke a look round her home and especially the garden which was very secure. During our time away Kat supplied a few photo which was very much appreciated. On pickup Islay was happy that I’m not sure she wanted to leave. We would have ni issues with booking Kat again.
Kat was brilliant with my dog, he warmed to her the moment they met. While he was boarding Kat sent me lots of updates including pictures and I could tell he was very well looked after and happy. I will be looking to book Kat again soon. It is such a relief to find someone who will care for your pet while you are away
Kat was amazing, this was our first time leaving kevin with anyone who wasnt family. She kept us up to date with photos and made us feel so comfortable leaving him with her!

Schedule
I work from home full time and can amend my schedule to suit your dog/cat and their usual routine to make them feel at home 😄 I like to go for walks, to the gym and cycle, all which can be arranged around your dog’s care

Safety, trust & environment
I have a secure home with lockable side gate and mesh underneath for no escape artists! My garden is fully fenced and secure. I can crate your dog if that is something they are used to in their home. Please let me know their usual routine so I can adapt. I am fully aware of toxic plants and foods which can be dangerous to your pet.
A typical day
I live in a safe newish built housing estate with lots of walk options around the local pond or fields. I am also in walking distance of Lytham front which is a great place for a dog walk with the beach and parks nearby too ☺️
