My name is Kat and I am an attorney who works fully remote. I have been working with cats and dogs, professionally, since I was 13 years old, which is when I started working at my cousin’s pet shop in Illinois. I also had my own dog-walking business by that same age. I’ve grown up around animals and I have been dubbed the “animal whisper” by many of friends. I enjoy working with animals, both large and small (cats included). When I am dog sitting, I like to take my furry friends on long walks and hikes, head to the dog park, and frequent other pet-friendly spots in the area, dependent on capabilities and permission. I am looking forward to meeting and caring for your pet! If pickup/stay is on the last day is after 11:00am please book for that day.

Thanks to Kat for a great stay! Kiki is usually scared of new people and she came out and cuddled! Both Sadie and Teddy give her 5 woofs for the great walk and time! Highly recommend!
Kat did such a great job caring for my two senior dogs. It was such a relief to know that they were being looked after by someone I could trust. She was responsive and send plenty of pictures and updates throughout the week. I came back to two happy and healthy girls and thats all someone can ask for. I will definitely be booking with Kat again.

I work from home and so I’m always available to care for your pets’ needs. My working hours are flexible and any necessary takes for your pet will be timely completed

When I stay at clients’ homes, I follow their set routines with their animals. I am able to take your pet outside whenever is necessary.
A typical day
Hikes, dog parks (if appropriate), and at least 1 long walk per day, or more, depending on whether there is a yard available for your pet to play in.
