I have reviews on Rover but also have links to a couple of sites where I have 14+ reviews from when my partner and I were pet sitting abroad. You can ask me for the links and I can send them to you. I am a certified dog trainer (KPA- Karen Pryor Academy- positive reinforcement training) with lots of pet sitting and dog walking experience. I do not accept bookings that require the use of aversive equipment (ex: prong collars, e-collars, or choke chains) on walks. I currently teach puppy classes in Charlottetown at a facility where we practice force free and clicker training. I am currently in the process of changing my profile name to just me, as my partner Dave is no longer doing Rover. I am currently looking into acquiring Pet CPR certification. I am an animal lover who goes the extra mile to ensure that your pet is comfortable and taken care of! I have grown up with dogs and cats and get to spend lots of time with dogs at the facility. I am comfortable with different sizes and breeds. I am currently working full time with some flexibility on most Wednesdays for dog walking and drop in visits, and some weekends (starting Friday evenings -not Friday day) for pet sitting. I will follow any instructions you leave with the utmost care and attention, and make sure that your pet is kept safe while under my watch. A meet-and-greet is required before I accept a booking.

While pet sitting, I can care for the pet(s) at the owner's house. I can take them out to their favourite park or walking route. I will take them wherever the pet owner is comfortable with.

I was travelling to PEI with a friend and my beloved puppy Lucy, at the time an 11 month old golden retriever. I didn’t know Kat and David so naturally I was nervous, but they quickly put me at ease. They were quick to accommodate any requests and went above and beyond by sending me little updates and pictures of what Lucy was doing. Lucy was extremely well cared for and I felt the humans had bonded a little too! Lucy and I both give 5 stars… so I guess that’s a 10 star rating ?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Kat & Dave are a wonderful down to earth couple with a genuine love and passion for all animals. They are honest, reliable and sensible with makes trusting them with my dog easy. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Schedule
I'm currently available on: Most Wednesdays for walking and drop-ins Weekends (Starting Friday evenings -not Friday day) for pet sitting (depending on availability) I am working full time M-F, but have flexibility on Wednesdays.
