My husband and I have had dogs all our lives. We have two rescues and understand that pups need time and patience in new surroundings. Please know your nervous pup is safe with us!! We also own horses. We have a yard for walking and toys for play. I’m a work from home pup mom so no worries about your pup alone at any time. Can feed your pup and administer any supplements or meds; if I can work a horse anything else is easy. Great references from an owner of five dogs I looked after for over a year. Kat was such a dream to work with! From the meet and greet to our dog’s week long stay she was in constant communication with us and working with us to make sure that our dog was getting what he needed. She went above and beyond to give him attention, tire him out and overall treat him as if he was her own. She sent us so many pictures and videos and was super responsive so we felt very secure leaving him with her. Her experience with dogs and patience was truly unmatched.
100/10 - Joey was so well looked after and Kat sent me photos and videos throughout his time with her. She is so good with puppies and you can tell she loves the dogs like her own. Joey loved his time - thank you so so much!

Kat was amazing with Thatcher! She sent pictures and videos daily! Thatcher doesn’t take to anyone so to see his tail up and wagging in pictures on their walks and running around the backyard made my vacation less stressful because I knew he was good hands!
Kat is so sweet, she really makes you feel like your dog is going to get the best care when you’re gone.

Schedule
I’m a work at home mom. I have dedicated my life to the welfare of all animals large and small. I have rescued, fostered and cared for all types and breeds of dogs. From puppies in need of potty training, loving family pets, pups with behavioral issues like separation anxiety and all the way up to hospice care. All dogs should be treated with love and compassion in all stages of life just like any family member.

We have a large yard in a rural county setting but close enough to New Haven and surrounding cities. All dogs have a separate rooms. Medical crating is also available for pets in post operative settings.

A typical day
Anything from lap naps to high energy runs and puppy pool play, any activity is always available. Just let me know your pup’s favorite things to do and I can customize their level of activity for a happy healthy stay at my home.
