Hi there! My name is Kat, and I've taken care of animals for the better part of 30 years. From domestic to exotic and even farm life! I own cats, aquatics, small animals, and a dog! I can't wait to assist you with all your pet care needs! I love all animals and am willing to take on larger breeds so long as their temperament is manageable for myself. I have had the pleasure of looking after breeds that are 230 lbs, so it is not out of my scope for care :) Unfixed Pets: I will consider providing services to unfixed pets, given they are puppies/kittens and have no behavioural issues such as aggression, reactivity, marking, etc. Please be open and honest with me, as I want to be sure to provide the best possible care, all while keeping everyone's safety in mind :D Side Note : I am knowledgeable in pet first aid and CPR, but not currently certified due to expiration. **** I require all pets to be FULLY VACCINATED for safety reasons prior to care. Up-to-date records can be posted or sent to me, and I do require them yearly. **** ** NOTICE ** I will be on holidays AUGUST 27-31ST and will not be accepting any bookings during this time. Kat was wonderful :) she cared for our 2 Guinea pigs while we were on vacation. Excellent service and communication. She is very professional and has a true love for animals. I highly recommend Kat if you are looking for great pet care :)
You will NEVER find a better pet sitter anywhere. I have had Kat sit for my two cats several times while on vacation and I couldn't think of anything negative about her even if I tried. She is phenomenal with my two and they love her. She is kind, gentle and very pleasant to deal with. She is worth MORE than five stars!
Kat was amazing, she was very diligent with her notes to me on how the kitties were doing. The kitties seemed happy with her. I would highly recommend
I have had Kat watch my cats several times. It is so nice to be able to get away and KNOW that your babies are being treated the way you yourself would treat them. Kat is truly one of a kind-she has a sensitive, gentle , loving spirit and she has earned my trust (which is not easy to do).
Kat is excellent. Dependanle and very kind to our pet. She puts in extra effort and time.

Schedule
Over the years, I have become much busier with providing care to many wonderful furbabies and their families. This is my only job, and I am fully dedicated to caring for your pets. That said, we are outside as much as possible, with tons of play and activities, rain or shine! I am very cautious during certain times of year, such as extreme heat and severe cold, and will always prioritize your pets well being. The times when I am not available are usually posted in my profile, but my calendar is updated frequently as well. If I have pets of special needs, anxiety, etc, often times, I am not able to modify or make accommodations for others, due to the high needs and well being of the pet.

Safety, trust & environment
Usually, I have extra leashes and poop bags on hand, as well as a safety clip in my vehicle for car rides! I'm very particular about clean water and food bowls as well as litter boxes! I am very aware of allergies with animals, and will provide an allergen-friendly environment! After all, no one wants to be itchy and scratchy! My home and vehicle are sanitized before and after all bookings and weekly cleans are done as well to ensure a safe, happy and healthy environment for all! All pets are to be vaccinated to help prevent the spread of potentially contagious illnesses. If your pet is experiencing any signs or symptoms of illness, please inform me ahead of time, as I will not be able to provide services. Due to the nature of what is entailed in being a pet care provider, I am in contact with many animals a day and would hate for anyone to become ill.
Pets
A typical day
All pets that are in my care or treated as if they are my own. I treat them all with love and respect. Many cuddles, kisses and treats (if allowed). I like to go on nature hikes and provide pets with lots of outdoor play time. I do not bring any pets to dog parks, however, I have several conservation sites, trails and areas to explore near by. My yard is fully fenced and a decent size for lots of outdoor play time! I am currently in the works of adding an agility run to my yard for extra added fun! In the case that animals may need their own space or there is a significant size or age difference, I am able to break up my yard into three FULLY fenced sections, so no one is injured, stressed and still able to have a great time !
