Currently, a weekend volunteer at a dog training bootcamp for a couple of hours per weekend. Previously worked in large animal rescue centres. Holds an Animal management qualification. Currently taking a gap year from university where I am studying BSc canine therapy therefore have time.I am flexible and am free weekdays & weekends. I am happy to consult with the owner about specific care needs in their home and meet the pet prior to sitting. I have basic animal health care, training and nutritional knowledge.

Safety, trust & environment
My background knowledge in the pet care industry means I ensure animals are provided with fresh drinking water at all times, fed the correct diet ( as instructed by owners), the animal has a safe/ comfortable area to sleep. All equipment Is cleaned throughly and disinfected between clients pets using pet safe products. When walking I use a double clipped lead to ensure the dog is controlled safely. I am also fully insured.

Kat and her mother took an incredible amount of time and care with my very anxious and shy senior dog. Each time they visited her, they made sure she had plenty of enrichment time, and worked to build her confidence with new people. They went above and beyond what was asked of them, and I’d highly recommend them to any doggy parents who are in need of a little extra help.
Kat was very friendly and professional. The communication was easy and fast and I loved the photos she sent. Phoebe was clearly well looked after and a bit sad that Kat and her mum were leaving when we got back 😅. The house was exactly as it was when we left. I will book Kat again in the future.
Both Kat and her mum have been very patient with my nervous dog. They have a lot of experiance and are able to give my dog his medication when they come. The pictures they take are great.
Absolutely fantastic again. Baxter needed extra TLC this time (including medication) due to a knee injury that happened a few weeks before our holiday but this wasn't a problem. We came home to a very happy, healthy dog and a very well looked after house. We will be in touch when we have worked out our holiday plans for next year.
