Dogs are in every part of my life and I understand how important it is to be sure that your dog is safe and happy while you are away. I do my best to treat your dog the way I would want my dogs to be treated if I was to board them. My kennel is a remodeled state of the art horse barn, it’s fully insulated and heated. On top of it I have a fully insulated and heated dog room with a dog wash for extra cold days or dirty pups. My huge barn provides great opportunity for indoor socialization and activities on heavy rain days. My 9 acre property has multiple fenced yards and a direct access to hundreds of miles of hiking trails (please check prior to booking for requirements for going on hikes), it is truly a dog heaven. I am able to provide a true PNW experience for active pups and plenty or rest and care for lower energy or older ones. Your pet will be sound asleep as soon as he/she gets home from running around on the farm and they will be happy to come back here for more fun. For me living with and taking care of/training dogs is not a hobby it's a lifestyle. I have been successfully competing in AKC field trials with my dogs for 15 years, and I understand the exercise and engagement requirements of dogs of all ages. Dogs in my care are never left unattended when out in the yard, and I only take a limited amount of dogs to avoid overcrowding. I can do basic grooming like nail clipping, ear cleaning and basic pet haircuts as long as the dog is willing to cooperate. My dogs are raw fed so I'm able to accommodate raw diet. Meet and greet is required for all new clients at least 2 days prior to boarding.

Always great communication and quality of care for my sweet boy
It was great to get pictures and videos of my dogs every day, and to know they got a lot of time outdoors to exercise and make new friends. The shop where the dogs stay when they are indoors is perfect- clean, spacious and safe. I was happy that my three dogs got to share a “room”.
Kat is incredible and has such a way with dogs! We love knowing our dogs are in her care while we are away!
Kat did an amazing job as always! Her helper Debbie was wonderful also. We love bringing our pup here and she loves running with the other dogs. Best boarder and always our first choice!
Kat watched my two golden retrievers for two weeks and they loved her. They got lots of exercise and socialized with other dogs. It was great receiving daily videos of them running and having fun. I will definitely use her services again and I highly recommend!

Schedule
Pet care is my full time job. The day starts with a potty break for all guests and continues with feeding time. Two more long outings during the day followed by dinner and another potty break. Last potty break is around 10pm.

Safety, trust & environment
Each dog gets its own indoor run and I have 4 large, fully fenced outdoor exercise yards. Each dogs gets a cot (dog house or igloo can be arranged too), clean and disinfected water bucket and a food dish. You are welcome to bring their bedding or toys too.
Pets
A typical day
All dogs get two 40min-1h daily playtime in the yard. Playtime can be in group or individual depending on the dog. We also go on multiple off leash hikes per week.
