***NOTICE FOR NEW & REPEAT CLIENTS*** I will be abroad in Japan for research Sept 2026-August 2027, after which I’ll return to Boston and resume pet services. You’ll find these months blocked off on my calendar. Thank you for your support and patience. I look forward to coming back and seeing the fur babies!!! *** I’ve had dogs in the family since I was a child, and they’ve been all sizes, temperaments and with different needs. I’ve worked with multiple R+ and balanced trainers in the Boston area and actively use training techniques throughout the day to help dogs who are selective-reactive, fearful, shy and/or have separation anxiety. I’m happy to incorporate any trainings you’re working on with your pups while they’re in my care***I do not believe pet services should be financially inaccessible. If you are struggling financially and need assistance, please reach out.

Kassandra was fabulous with our nervous pup! She went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable, from wrapping her pills in cheese to literally carrying her down the street when she made a break for home. Very communicative, friendly and experienced.

We boarded Smokey with Kassandra again and she took such wonderful care of him! He had some tummy issues that she was extremely communicative about and she took amazing care of him throughout his stay. Will be booking with her again soon!
We boarded our dog Smokey with Kassandra and it was such a wonderful experience - she was flexible with pick up and drop off and provided frequent updates. We felt safe having Smokey in her care and with the company of her dog Mochi, and will absolutely book with her again!

Schedule
I am a graduate student, and spend no more than 3 hours teaching/working on campus, typically in the afternoon, but my office is only 10 minute walk away so I’m rarely gone for long. For pets who would do best with full time WFH, my schedule is flexible. The rest of the time I spend either at home or outdoors at parks or on hikes. My life truly revolves around dogs. Stay at home movie nights with lots of treats or hangouts at the dog parks—you name it!

I now have a car, so my serviced area radius has increased for walking and checkin services! I do not offer boarding/stay services in the client’s home.

A typical day
I love taking dogs to local light hiking paths, dog parks, or even errands to store/markets. If we’re staying in, I have a bunch of toys and mental stimulation games we can work through.
