Surrounded by some of the area’s most scenic trails—including the Mount Vernon Trail, Custis Trail, Roosevelt Island, and the Potomac Heritage Trail—your dog will have access to enriching outdoor time in a calm, beautiful setting. With over 10 years of pet sitting experience, I’ve cared for dogs of all temperaments, sizes, and energy levels—including reactive dogs who may need extra patience, awareness, and structure. I’m deeply passionate about creating a safe, loving environment where every dog feels at ease—even while away from home. My goal is to make sure your pet feels genuinely cared for, not just watched. I live an active lifestyle and spend much of my time outdoors. For dogs who enjoy it, I offer structured walks or runs along the trails. For those who prefer a slower pace, I tailor the experience to match their comfort level—ensuring they feel relaxed and secure at all times. I work an early schedule (Tuesday–Saturday, 4:00 AM–12:30 PM), which allows me to be fully present with your dog for the majority of the day. I prioritize maintaining your dog’s routine, with walks scheduled right before I leave and immediately upon my return, along with consistent feeding and care based on your instructions. To provide the highest level of attention and a low-stress environment, I only host one dog at a time (or multiple dogs from the same family). This ensures your pet receives truly individualized care. I also have a home monitoring system in place, allowing me to check in while I’m at work and ensure your dog remains safe and comfortable. While you’re away, I aim to give your dog their own “staycation”—a balance of structure, enrichment, and relaxation so they feel just as happy as they would at home (if not more). You can expect consistent communication, thoughtful updates, and a level of care that reflects both experience and genuine love for animals.

Kasia was wonderful! She was a lifesaver when I had last minute travel arise, and provided a ton of updates and photos so I never once worried about my pup. She kept him safe and entertained even amidst a historic heat wave, and he came home a very happy boy.

Kasia is fantastic. During our black lab's boarding this weekend, she kept us in the loop on everything with lots of photos and video updates throughout our trip, so we always knew our pup was happy and well cared for. Her communication was excellent from start to finish, quick to respond and easy to coordinate with. We came home to a relaxed, happy doggo and never had a moment of worry while we were away. If you're looking for a boarder you can fully trust, Kasia is it. Highly recommend!

Pet care is thoughtfully integrated into my daily routine and is always a top priority. I structure my schedule to ensure your dog receives consistent, attentive care throughout the day. Because I work early hours (Tuesday–Saturday, 4:00 AM–12:30 PM), I’m able to dedicate the majority of my day to your pet. Mornings begin with a walk and any feeding or care your dog needs before I leave. As soon as I return home early afternoon, the rest of my day is centered around them—whether that’s longer walks on the nearby trails, outdoor time, enrichment, or simply relaxing together. My active lifestyle allows me to naturally incorporate walks and outdoor activity, while still being mindful of each dog’s individual energy level and routine. I also keep a close eye on your dog while I’m away using a home monitoring system for added peace of mind. Because I only care for one dog at a time (or dogs from the same family), I’m able to be fully present and provide a calm, structured environment that feels consistent and secure.

My goal is for your pet to feel genuinely at ease and well cared for—whether they’re enjoying a “staycation” with me or relaxing in their own home.
