**CALENDAR UPDATE** Unfortunately, we will be out of town and will have limited cell service August 17th - August 27th. Our calendar should show that we are unavailable these dates, but sometimes it still lets clients send us messages or request these dates so I wanted to put an additional update up here to let everyone know we are unavailable, but also to let people know that if you send us requests for other dates during these dates that we are gone, we will not be able to respond to them until we get back in town and have cell service. Thank you for understanding!*** About Southern Manners K9 Enrichment Camp: My husband, Adam, and I both have always loved animals and feel that we have a very strong connection with them, but our passion has always been dogs! Once we had our son back in 2015, our love for them has only grown as we get to watch our son’s compassion and love for the dogs in our care grow every single day. We are also currently owned by 8 VERY spoiled dogs, 7 adorable goats, 6 piggies, 20 Chickens(safely enclosed & out of reach from the dogs 🤣), 15 quail, 1 Corn Snake & a pretty spoiled Bearded Dragon. ☺️ Adam is a certified dog trainer through Highland Canine, LLC and we both have a great understanding of canine body language and psychology. We agree that a well exercised dog is a happy dog! :) Our home is nestled in the middle of 20 acres with a 5 acre, man-made lake that is perfect for swimming with easy access in and out of it! Our land is fenced in, and we have added 2 new large fenced in areas for special guests that may not do well off leash or come when called since 20 acres is a large area to roam, even being that it is fenced in. The newest addition, which I guess you could thank the corona quarantine for, has been our new beach! That’s right, we have created our own little private beach down at the lake, which has been a HUGE hit for the dogs and people! We also have kayaks, a paddle boat, jumping dock & plenty of floaty’s! So whether we are throwing the frisbee, digging & playing in the sand or swimming in the lake, the dogs are having a blast and wearing themselves out playing! There are also trails all over our property so we go on TONS of walks everyday(weather permitting) and we have a gator that when its not too hot, the dogs love to chase and run through the trails following! Some things that we would need to know would be if your dog(s) have a habit of running away or not coming back when called or are escape artists. If so, it doesn't mean we wouldn't be able to accommodate their stay, it just means we would plan to leash walk them and monitor them much, much more closely! Extra's/Details: -We do offer Doggy Daycare by appointment only and can set up daycare packages if you are needing/wanting regular day care for your dog(s)! Please send us a message if you would like some more details in regards to our daycare activities! :) -NEW*SUMMER MONTHS ONLY*: Over the last few years we have grown our chicken flock & are now getting between 17-20 eggs a day! We are selling them for $4 a dozen if you would like to buy some when you pick your pups up at the end of their stay & can either pay in Cash, Zelle or Venmo :) If you have any further questions about this, don't hesitate to ask us! -*SUMMER MONTHS ONLY*We are also able to feed your dog(s) raw or scrambled eggs for breakfast if that is something additional you would like, let us know! -We provide daily treats *Please let us know if your dog(s) have any food allergies* -We can provide food bowls, blankets & toys! All food bowls are cleaned daily after each use. *If your dog(s) prefer to eat out of a special bowl, please feel free to bring it! -We accept any size, any breed. Due to our expansive knowledge in breeds & training, we can handle almost any dog! All that we ask is that you let us know of any quarks, such as dog/cat aggression, if they don't like kids, counter-surfing, food aggression, chewing, fence climbing or jumping, etc. so that we can plan and prep accordingly prior to their arrival. -We can provide daily photos/videos and you can have peace of mind knowing that you can message us at any time! -***Drop off and pick up times need to be after 8am & before 5pm*** If you need something outside of this range, please let us know and we'll see if we can accommodate you & if so it would be an additional fee. --- If you would like your fury friends to come stay with us, message me so we can set up a meet and greet(if you would like one) for a day and time that works best for both of us! Meet & Greets are not required. We look forward to meeting you and your furry friends! :) This is my husband, Adam, and I’s full time job. So we are home almost all day, everyday other than when we have to run errands, take our son to appointments, or extracurricular activities. But even then we try to alternate so that someone is almost always home or not far away. We also have cameras and monitoring systems connected to our phone so that we can check on them whenever we’d like or need to. This also goes for temperature monitoring and an alarm that will sound on our phone for smoke or carbon dioxide detection. Our entire property is fenced in, but because it is 20 acres, some dogs may not do well with their recall on so much land, at least not right away. So we do have a small fenced in yard as well as 2 large fenced in yards for lots of playtime and exercise.
