Kasey and Josh continue to be our most trusted friends to care for our furry family! They have gone above and beyond for our elder fur baby during this last visit where he required emergency care. Due to the quick action and keen observation of both Kasey and Josh, and the team at Tualitan 24 emergency veterinary care, we have a stable happy old fella back home. Our senior pup had an unexpected pulmonary event due to age and couldn’t have been helped… but, without Kasey’s and Josh’s vigilance it could have easily been missed. We are forever grateful.

Schedule
I work from home 2-3 days per week and my schedule has some flexibility. My partner, Josh, works fully remote, so at least one of us will always be home during weekday bookings. We prefer dogs who are accustomed to laying low/napping while their humans work. The upside is, they will receive lots of playtime, pets, treats, and love during breaks, and our days will basically revolve around them otherwise :)

So many of us lead busy lives, yet want to enjoy having a pet. This is one reason I feel inspired to lend other pet parents a hand. As an experienced Rover sitter, I have cared for a wide array of dogs in my home since 2017 and have enjoyed the experience of getting to know dogs and their humans over the course of these many years.
A typical day
Our neighborhood is pretty quiet and woodsy, making it great for walks on the roads or local trails - twice a day, or whatever your pup's usual routine is. There's plenty of space to run and play in our fenced backyard in between. Fetch, tug, chase me - whatever their favorite activity is, we can do it. And if they're more of a snuggle-on-the-couch type, we can do that too!

- Before requesting a booking, please read the following. I'd love to know about your dog's temperament, personality, daily routine, quirks, and any triggers or behavioral concerns. Good fit: Medium-to-large breeds that are generally well-socialized and responsive to direction. Reactivity is not necessarily a deal breaker, but it must be disclosed before booking. Age: I am currently unable to board puppies under 1 year old or dogs over 10 years old. Training: Dogs must be fully house-trained (no pee pads) and accustomed to walking on-leash. I have a fenced yard, but daily walks are part of our routine. Home: I live in a split-level home with stairs inside and outside. Please let me know if your dog has difficulty with stairs. Behavior: Please disclose any history of separation anxiety, destructive behavior, accidents in new environments, excessive barking, noise sensitivity, or difficulty settling when left alone. Sleeping: Dogs must be comfortable sleeping outside the bedroom with the door closed. If you're unsure whether your dog is a good fit, I'm always happy to discuss their needs before booking.
