Growing up on a farm, I’ve had diverse opportunities in pet care, from newborn kittens and puppies to elderly animals who need extra assistance! I have house sat for several friends and their families in the past, including my own family. I have handled young animals who need pretty constant attention, and elderly animals who need extra assistance with medication and comfort. I have grown up with 20+ animals over the years (farm life) varying from cats, dogs, chickens, fish, donkeys, horses, and even a few rescue wild animals! I am able to bathe and groom your animals, walk and play with them, make them feel comfortable and respect their space, and keep your space tidy and clean. I also like to keep owners informed of how their pet is doing so that you can be worry free while you enjoy your time away!

Schedule
I am currently working on pilots license and serving at a brunch establishment, my hours at work are typically 8-3:30pm four days a weeks. Most of my other time is spent flying (typically lasting 2-3 hours) or studying which I am able to do from home.

I have a few cats who are very peaceful and keep to themselves. I also have a fenced in backyard for my older Maltese! I love to ensure that my animals are always comfortable and happy. I’ve had several animals who have had health issues (old age) and their quality of life is my biggest concern. If an animal is playful I like to meet their needs and maintain an exciting and upbeat environment. If an animal is a little shy or quiet, I like to create a calm comfortable space for them. I know all animals have their own unique personalities and I try to match their energy as best as I can. I am capable of distributing medicine, I have even had to care for baby kittens before which can get a little messy. I also prioritize cleanliness for my animals and their households, not allowing kitty litter boxes to get out of control, cleaning up messes, grooming, etc. I understand that the owners peace of mind and the animals peace of mind go hand in hand. I’ll care for your fur babies the same way I care for mine!
A typical day
A typical day for your dog will start with yummy food, a walk around the neighborhood, and if the weathers good, a trip to the Louisville Loop Parklands. The Parklands are my favorite area in Louisville. I’ll do lots of things to keep your dog active and stimulated.
