Pet care is my full-time focus. I’m generally available for visits every day between 9 AM and 9 PM, which allows me to be flexible and consistent with scheduling. I do occasionally accept requests outside of these hours, when possible, especially if a pet has specific needs or a client is in a pinch.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any special needs. I take time to observe each pet’s behavior and comfort level and adjust my approach as needed, especially for shy or anxious pets. During each visit, I make sure pets receive attention, enrichment, and safe supervision, while also handling tasks like refreshing food and water, cleaning litter boxes or cages, and tidying pet areas. I treat my clients’ homes with respect and can help with basic house-sitting tasks if requested. After every visit, I provide a detailed update with photos, so clients know their pets are safe, comfortable, and cared for.

It’s always helpful to know about a pet’s history with aggressive or reactive behaviors, especially toward strangers, as well as any tendencies to try to escape. That said, I approach every new pet interaction with caution and never make assumptions. I also appreciate knowing about any triggers, fears, medical needs, or routines that help your pet feel safe and comfortable. The more information you can share ahead of time, the better I can tailor my approach and make each visit as stress free and safe as possible for everyone involved.
A typical day
Fun activities always depend on the pet’s personality, energy level, and preferences. For dogs, that can include walks, structured play, enrichment games, and plenty of one-on-one attention. For cats, fun might look like interactive play, puzzle toys, or calm companionship for cats who prefer a quieter presence. I never force interaction and always follow each pet’s cues. Some pets want active play, others just want company or routine, and both are equally important. My goal is to make each visit engaging without being overwhelming, so pets feel happy, relaxed, and comfortable while their owners are away.

Hi, I’m Kasey! I’m 28, a lifelong animal lover, and pet care is what my husband and I do full time, on Rover & beyond. Between us, we bring about 15 years of hands-on experience caring for hundreds of pets including dogs, cats, bunnies, chickens, snakes, and other small animals, with a 100% safety record. No injuries, incidents or losses. We are both certified in cat and dog first aid and carry pet care insurance outside of Rover for added protection and peace of mind. While I’m newer to Rover, professional pet care is not new to us. Additional five-star reviews and client endorsements from outside the platform are available upon request. I am your primary caregiver for all bookings. Charlie provides added support when appropriate. If you prefer I am the only person present, or if your pets are uncomfortable with multiple caregivers or men specifically, that is fully respected. Your comfort and your pet’s comfort always come first. We specialize in reliable, detail-oriented drop-in visits and take this work seriously. Every visit includes attentive care, clear communication, and a thorough aftercare summary with photos so you always know exactly how your pets are doing.
